Daily COVID-19 Vaccine Report Massachusetts Department of Public Health COVID-19 Vaccine Data – Friday, April 30, 2021 Daily COVID-19 Vaccine Report The Daily COVID-19 Vaccine Report includes the most currently available information on vaccine doses shipped, the number of vaccine doses administered, including number of people partially and fully vaccinated, and the percent of total doses administered. Additional data on vaccines are published in the Weekly Vaccination Dashboard posted on Thursday. Please note: Data in the dashboard reflects the date when vaccination was reported by providers into the Massachusetts Immunization Information System (MIIS), not the date the vaccine was administered. Massachusetts Department of Public Health COVID-19 Vaccine Data – Friday, April 30, 2021 Critical definitions Please Note: the following terms and definitions apply to COVID-19 only. Doses administered: Doses of vaccine that have been given to people by providers. First doses administered: Current COVID-19 vaccines require either one or two doses for a person to become fully vaccinated. Data on "first doses" administered reflect the first dose of a two-dose vaccine series (Moderna and Pfizer) and the only dose in a single-dose vaccine series (J&J/Janssen). Second doses administered: Data on “second doses” administered reflect the second dose of a two-dose vaccine series. A “second dose” results in a person being fully vaccinated. Total doses administered: “Total doses administered” is the combination of both "first doses" and “second doses” administered. Doses shipped: Confirmed doses of COVID-19 vaccine that have been shipped to providers (e.g., hospitals, pharmacies, other providers). Individuals who received at least one dose: People who have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Individuals who are fully vaccinated: A person is counted as fully vaccinated if they have received the number of doses required to complete the COVID-19 vaccine series (e.g., Moderna and Pfizer vaccine require two doses to complete the series). MIIS: Immunization data from most (but not all) providers in Massachusetts are reported into the Massachusetts Immunization Information System (MIIS) through direct messages from electronic health records or direct entry by users. Due to provider reporting of administration data and data processing, data may be available in MIIS 24-48 hours or more after administration. Due to time needed for inputting shipment data, shipment data may be available in MIIS 24-48 hours or more after shipment. Data are current as of time of publication and may be subject to change in future publications as additional data are reported. Federal Pharmacy Partnership for Long-term Care Program (FPPP): A federal program that provides vaccines directly to pharmacies. Shipments are tracked and reported from the federal data tracking system, Tiberius​. Throughout the successful reopening ofour schools for in-person instruction, we have consistently provided families with the ability to make educational decisions that are in the best interest oftheir children. Our efforts ensured parents had the ability to choose from multiple learning modality options for the current school year, with the option to transition to new modalities when their child may have required another option to ensure they were achieving adequate progress. Florida has once again proven that one-size-fits-all policies do not meet the unique needs ofindividual students or their families. Therefore, we should continue to make surgical - not sweeping - decisions to mitigate large-scale educational disruptions as we are planning for the upcoming 2021-2022 school year. As you reflect on the current school year and look ahead to 2021-2022, an example ofa one-size-fits-all policy are the mandatory face covering policies in some districts and schools. Upon reviewing the policies of those districts with mandatory face covering policies, reviewing all districts relevant health data, and factoring in such data points as the percentage ofstudents learning in-person and the relative population of a county (which is often synonymous with a county's community health resources), the data shows us that districts' face covering policies do not impact the spread of the virus.

    April 14, 2021 As of yesterday's report, Greenwood County had 13 additional confirmed cases in the county for a total of 7,217 cases confirmed since 21 March 2020. Remember this is only those which have been confirmed and is for those who were tested a minimum of two days ago. This means there are others who have been tested and are in quarantine awaiting results. Additionally, an individual can be asymptomatic, (contagious but shows no symptoms), and may choose not to be tested. The first 7,070 cases in Greenwood County were reported over 15 days ago, so there are 7,070 individuals who should have recovered from the virus. Additionally, Greenwood County has had 150 confirmed deaths due to the virus. This brings Greenwood County's remaining estimated total of active confirmed cases to 146. DHEC does not track recovered individuals by county, so this number is an estimate based on the following: Most individuals recover from the virus within this time frame. From 28 March until 10 April (2 weeks), Greenwood has had 139 confirmed cases out of a population of 70,811. This equates to an incident rate of 196.3 per 100,000 individuals which is rated as medium by SCDHEC. (Low = 50 or less; Medium = 51 - 200; High = 201 or more) SCDHEC reported an additional 447 new confirmed cases in the state for a total of 472,310. The upcoming establishment of the New Jersey Solar Successor Program (Successor Program) is the culmination of more than two years of stakeholder engagement and program development to transition from New Jersey’s legacy SREC program to the creation of a long-term, durable solar incentive program. On April 7, 2021, the Board issued a Notice releasing Staff’s New Jersey Solar Successor Program Straw Proposal, which details preliminary recommendations for the Successor Program and launches the last set of stakeholder sessions in this solar transition to be held between late April and early May. To complement these workshops, stakeholders are also invited to speak directly with the Board Commissioners at this Public Meeting.
