PRESIDENT THE NAVY LEAGUE MESSAGE

President the Navy League message Conceived as an entity that would help officers of the Navy and officers of the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force who had served in the Navy retain their camaraderie after they retired from active service THE NAVY LEAGUE has matured into a vibrant non- commercial nonpolitical organization Its formal membership has grown to over three hundred since inception in 2001. With the establishment of the Lahore Chapter, THE NAVY LEAGUE is at the threshold of growing into a truly national and international platform that, in a modest manner, is promoting the welfare, social inter action and philanthropic activities of retired officers. We look forward to opening of more Navy League Chapters in different cities/regions of the country. We are also in contact with several colleagues in different countries at various locations on the globe whose love for their parent organization makes them desirous of retaining their friendships cultivated over a life time. We look forward to their Navy League Chapters coming into being soon. We are confident that with the prevailing spirit and instant connectivity through this website and email, THE NAVY LEAGUE will continue on its path of preserving old ties and remain the primary platform for inter action between serving and retired officers of the Pakistan Navy. We have been fortunate to enjoy the patronage of the Office of the Chief of the Naval Staff right from our infancy. Successive Chiefs of Naval Staff since 2001 have kindly consented to be the Patrons of THE NAVY LEAGUE. This spirit has permeated to all levels of the Pakistan Navy and various Commands and organizations of this wonderful service across the country have regularly bestowed generosity upon their colleagues of yester years. We are grateful to successive Chiefs of Naval staff for their patronage. Zafar Mahmood Abbasi NI(M) has continued with this tradition and is giving us the patronage that we so dearly cherish. We are particularly thankful to the Admiral for his support.

Vice Admiral (R) Ahmad Hayat HI(M)
