Whether in the gym, at the field, or out at the sports complex, our students put in many hours on the hardwood, turf, track, and in weight room. Our dedicated fans bring their own brand of spirit to our competitions. Our fall sports enjoyed play-off opportunities, District Volleyball tourney, and third and sixth places finishes in boys and girls XC, respec tively. Winter brought us a second place State finish for the grapplers, fourth at State in Boys basketball, and a fourth place Divisional finish for the girls. We look forward to what spring will bring for our track and field, softball, tennis, and track participants.

17 AT THE MOVIES

Homecoming 2003 was another memorable homecoming. This year's theme was "At the Movies." The seniors chose the movie "Rockie", the juniors chose "Jaws", the sophomores chose "Wizard of Oz", and the freshman chose 'The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." Every year we battle with the weather, especially the wind. This year mother nature decided to rain. Thankfully, all the float sites were indoors. The main events of homecoming-- powderpuff football, macho volleyball, and the barbeque- were moved into the school. Because of the lighting in the gym, we were unable to get clear pictures of the games. In powderpuff football the sophomores beat the seniors and the junior girls beat the freshmen. In macho volleyball the seniors barely beat the sophomores and the juniors again beat the freshmen. Then there was the homecoming royalty. The freshman class nominated Kasey Dosch and Justin Fitzpatrick. The sophomore class nominated Traci Miller and Danny Parrent. The junior class nominated Marcia Lennick and Brandon Hallenberg. The senior class proudly nominated Kate Luedtke and Josh Pyette. The race for the crowns was very close. Marcia was crowned queen and Justin was crowned king. The parade went smoothly. The class of 2004 finally won the contest of the best float. The pep assembly after the parade was also held in the high school gym where the members of the football, volleyball, and cross-country teams were announced.

31 BRING IT ON ! This year in cheerleading was full of ups and downs. Last year our squad was probably the best in the stale. This year the girls met with many obstacles. The CBHS cheerleading coach quit before the season even began. Luckily Mrs. Villamez stepped in to take over the position. Unfortunately, she was not certified to allow the girls to do stunts and some girls did not get along with her. The season started out with almost 30 girls and ended up with 19. The squad was made up of mostly seniors but by the end only two remained. The cheerleaders were able to team up with Jean Cline to make up a dance which was performed during the District tournament in Shelby. The cheerleaders supported the boys and girls basketball teams through all of the tournaments. Cheerleading this year was such a chaotic sport, but the girls perscrvered to make the year the best that it could be. Great job cheerleaders!!

Teachers' aides find themselves doing favors for teachers such as running errands, corrcting papers, and other challenging tasks. Every once in a while, thes hard-working students are rewarded with a well-deserved trip to the lobby or library for a snack or a bit of relaxation. In addition to positive recognitionn. these students also earn academic credit for their services.

Both students and faculty often see these girls traveling through the halls in search for students to deliver them notes. They help the office with attendance records and other office duties. Mrs. Cain and Mrs. Coen appreciate these girls for all their hard work and dedication. Without office aides, school might not run so smoothly. Thank you ladies for all you do for your fellow students.

The Wolf Yearbook contained 88 pages of color and black&white pictures. We experienced many changes this year, including new publishing with Walsworth and went with a spring delivery.

The Wolf Yearbook "Starstruck" would not have been possible without the hard work of the Publication Design class and the additional support of the Journalism staff and their advisor, Mrs. Olszewski. We would like to thank our advertisers, as well as the Pioneer Press and Mike Bashor for their help with sports photography. This project would not be possible without their generosity. Thank you also to our advertisers.
