Adult Division – Rules and Regulations 1. Open to any 2011-2012 products may be exhibited. (Made since the 2011 fair) Articles previously exhibited will be disqualified. 2. Prizes will be awarded only to articles deemed worthy of a prize by the judges. 3. Articles that are not on this premium list will not be accepted for exhibit. 4. Only one article may be entered for each premium by any one exhibitor. 5. Canned products accepted in standard jars only (ex. Ball, Kerr, Mason, and Golden Harvest jars. 6. All items not advancing to State Fair are to be picked up at the Rapides Parish Fair between the hours of 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, 2012. Articles not picked up after the Rapides Parish Fair must be picked up between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2012. At the end of this period, if not claimed, these items will be donated to a worthy cause, Exception – Fresh Fruits and Vegetables will be disposed of at the fairgrounds, at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2012. 7. *Instructions for items progressing to the State fair are available as separate fact sheet. You may obtain one from the Extension/4-H office. 8. Permission by the exhibitor must be given at time of entry in order for articles to be sent to the state fair. ALL RULES, REGULATIONS, PREMIUM OFFERINGS, ETC., APPEARING IN THIS CATALOG ARE SUBJECT TO CORRECTION IN EVENT OF ANY PRINTING ERRORS THAT WOULD TEND TO CHANGE THE MEANING OR INTENT.
