The tenor and pianist Miloš Bulajić was born 1989 in Bonn, Germany to a musical family. As a Belcanto-tenor (tenore di grazia) especially singing the works of Rossini, Donizetti, Bellini and Mozart he is one of the most promising young singers of his generation, so he allready sung lots of the leading roles from this repertoire in numerous operahouses and festivals across europe. Recently he was awarded with the prestigious Italian prize “Premio Arca d´oro Giovani Talenti” which is sponsored by the region of Piemonte and the City of Turin to outstanding young talents.

At age seven Miloš Bulajić received piano lessons with Srboljub Dinić, then going on to study Piano at the Hans Eisler University of Music in Berlin and the Julius-Stern Institut in Berlin, graduating with his Concert-Diploma at the University of Music in Würzburg in 2014. He was particularly inspired by Professor Georg Sava (HfM Berlin). Between 1999 and 2002 he was a member of the Domchoir Berlin as well as a member of the children’s choir at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, Berlin. During his time at the Staatsoper-childrenchoir he had performed as a soloist in numerous productions including TOSCA and LA BOHEME, working with conductors such as Philippe Jordan and Daniel Barenboim.

Miloš Bulajić has studied singing with the late Professor Leandra Overmann at the University of Music in Würzburg. His roles there included Ferrando COSI FAN TUTTE, Fenton FALSTAFF and the dancing master ARIADNE AUF NAXOS (directed by Cheryl Studer). He has also taken part in masterclasses at “Accademia della Voce di Torino” with and Luciana d´Intino. Since 2012 he has studied with Professor Helene Schneiderman. Since 2014 he has begun to study in the class of Professor Daniela Sindram for his Master Degree. In 2013/14 he was invited by Helga Schmidt to be part of the “Centre de Perfectionnement Placido Domingo” at Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia.

He made his operatic debut in the role of Don Ramiro at the Weikersheim Festival by “Jeunesses Musicales” in 2007, in a production directed by Dominik Wilgenbus, with Alessandro de Marchi and Patrick Lange conducting the German National Youth Orchestra (BJO). He has reprised this role at the Theaters of Braunschweig and Magdeburg in Germany, and Linz in Austria. In 2011 he replaced Javier Camarena in the role of Don Ramiro at Opéra National de Paris conducted by Bruno Campanella.

In 2010 he performed the 4 th Jew SALOME at the Verbier Festival in Switzerland conducted by Valery Gergiev and made his debut as Count Almaviva IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA at the Sédières Festival in France.

In 2011/12 he made his debut as Tonio in LA FILLE DU RÉGIMENT at the Operahouse of Rostock in Germany and was engaged to cover the same role at the Royal Opera House (Covent Garden), production by Laurent Pelly conducted by Yves Abel. Further operatic engagements include the role of Ghost HAMLET by Christian Jost and the role of Pavle DIE ROTE ZORA both at the Komische Oper Berlin (released on DVD as a ARTHAUS Production) with conductors Carl St. Claire and Catherine Larsen-Maguire and director Andreas Homoki. In 2010 he took part in Calixto Bieito’s production of LE GRAND MACABRE at Theater Freiburg.

With the theater group “Nico and the Navigators” in Berlin he created the Tenor Solo in their much lauded stage production of Rossini’s LA PETITE MESSE SOLENNELLE . This Production is on tour until 2015 at the Artfestival Weimar at Theater Erfurt in Germany, at Dijon Opéra and Paris Opéra-Comique in France, the Bregenz Festival 2012 in Austria and the Grand Theatre de Luxembourg among others. In 2012 Miloš Bulajić became prize-winner at the International Competition “Cittá di Bologna” in , where he received the special prize “Benvenuto Franci”.

In summer 2012 Milos Bulajic was invited by Alberto Zedda to take part in the prestigious Accademia Rossiniana and to sing Count Libenskof IL VIAGGIO A REIMS as part of the Rossini Opera Festival ROF in Pesaro,Italy. Bulajic has appeared on concert platforms in Germany, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Czech Republic and France where he has sung a wide concert repertoire including Mozart REQUIEM , Rossini PETITE MESSE SOLENNELLE and STABAT MATER , Bach ST. MATTHEW PASSION (at the Berlin Philharmonie) and numerous cantatas, Haydn CREATION and STABAT MATER , Händel MESSIAH and ST. JOHN PASSION , Bruckner Mass in F and Carl Orff CARMINA BURANA with orchestras including the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Bamberg Symphonic.

In the 2012/13 season he sang the Count Almaviva in a new production of IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA at Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck in Austria and Tonio in a new production of LA FILLE DU RÉGIMENT at Staatstheater Karlsruhe, in Germany. In 2013/14 he made his debut as Ferrando in a new production of COSI FAN TUTTE at the Theater Pforzheim, Germany, sung Don Ramiro LA CENERENTOLA at Bulgarian National Opera in Sofia as well as the Tenor solo part in Rossini STABAT MATER with the Festival Música Mallorca 2013 and revivals of Nico and the Navigator’s Petite Messe solennelle at the Theater of Nîmes in France and jumped in as Almaviva IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA at Theater Magdeburg.

Miloš Bulajić was part of the Young Singers Project at the Salzburg Festival in 2014 so he sung Don Ramiro in LA CENERENTOLA and Belmonte in ENTFÜHRUNG AUS DEM SERAIL.

The season 2014/15 includes the revival of the Production IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA in Magdeburg as well as revivals with the PETITE MESSE SOLENNELLE Production in Antibes (Theatre Athéa) and Perpignan in France, a few performances of Purcells FAIRY QUEEN at Staatstheater Mainz and concerts with the Mozart Requiem and Mendelssohn Paulus in Wiesbaden.
