Two Ways to Prepare For the November Election The 2016 General Election is just around the corner. This is an exciting milestone for Arapahoe County, City of Sheridan, Colorado, and the nation, when voters will decide on local, state and federal races and ballot issues. To prepare for the election, Arapahoe County Clerk and Recorder Matt Crane and City of Sheridan would like to remind registered voters to review and update their mailing address to ensure they receive a ballot in the mail. Ballots will begin to arrive in the mail mid-October. To register to vote, review and update voter information, go to www.GoVoteColorado.com. Car Enthusiasts Roll with Sheridan Events On Sunday, Sept. 11th, The Early Ford V-8 Club will host its 45th annual All Ford Day Car Show. It will be held in the parking lot of Sheridan High School (3201 W. Oxford Avenue) This event is the oldest continuous car show in Metro Denver. It is free to the public. The “through” lane in front of the School is for emergency vehicles only! Please park south of Sheridan City Hall on Hazel Ct. (south at traffic light) and walk to the High School. We expect around 200 cars so park- ing lot will be full. Come enjoy the music and commentary of Englewood High grad “Da Boogieman” (DJ). Onsite food and drink will be available for purchase. The best time to see all the vehicles would be 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. We have had many different venues over 45 years, but the last six at SHS have been our best! Come join us and enjoy the day.
