I believe that in the development of goaltenders, instructors need to look towards the NHL to see what style is effective in today’s competition; then look at an individual’s personal talents and skills towards combining the two to become the best possible for your game, whatever the individual level of play. Having fun while playing goal happens once a goaltender can learn to effectively stop more pucks. At our camp, you will have fun while learning the steps needed to stop more pucks. o NHL Goaltender for 13 years o Played for the New York Islanders, Colorado Rockies, New Jersey Devils, and Philadelphia Flyers o Led the NY Islanders to the Stanley Cup and won in 1979-1980 Season o Was the recipient of the 1982 Bill Masterton Trophy for his perseverance and dedication to hockey in the NHL o Previous NHL goalie coach for the Flyers, Stars, and Senators o Taught goaltending at hockey schools for 25 years in North America and Internationally o Current television color commentator for New Jersey Devils last 10 years Kevin entered the NHL as a second-round draft pick by the Florida Panthers in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. Over the years, Kevin has played for the Florida Panthers, Vancouver Canucks, New York Islanders, Tampa Bay Lightning, Carolina Hurricanes, New York Rangers, and is currently playing with the New Jersey Devils. He established franchise records in Tampa Bay for most saves in one season in the year 2000-2001. In his three seasons with the Carolina Hurricanes, Kevin set team records for the second most career shutouts, and tied for the most shutouts in one season. Kevin also had the best goals against average, save percentage and shutouts in the 2002 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Cam Janssen currently plays right wing for the National Hockey League's New Jersey Devils. He was drafted 117th overall in the 4th round by the New Jersey Devils in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. Janssen led the Devils during the 2005-2006 season with 11 major penalties for fighting. On February 24, 2007 Cam Janssen scored his first career goal against the Washington Capitals at 10:33 in the second period in his 82nd career game in the NHL. Jim Hunt is the Hockey Director at the Ice Vault Arena and former NCAA Division I head coach and assistant coach of 2008 U.S. World Jr. Team, and the 2006 U18 World Championship US National Team. In 2003 he was the recipient of the New Jersey Devils Dr. John J. McMullen award for dedication and service to amateur hockey in New Jersey. He has served as the Vice President of Player Development for the Atlantic District of USA Hockey for the past ten years. Hunt is the current coach of the Jersey Hitmen, Junior hockey team (EJHL).
