Controversial BMW 4 Series launched

Hot off the heels of the latest BMW 5 Series, the German automaker has recently launched its lat- est 4 Series model. The international launch took place via a virtual event which gave media as well as fans the world over a first look at the car. One of the biggest talking points since its official un- veiling has been its design. The BMW 4 Series is based on the 3 Series but offers a sportier appeal. The previous generation shared much in terms of technology and design while the latest seems to share more technology than design. The latest 4 Series features a large, elongated double-kidney grille which has been the focus of conversation. Is it pretty? No. Is it eye-catching? Yes. The rest of the front features a neatly designed bumper and the M440i features large vents for a more performance-enhancing look. The side profile of the 4 Series is neat with a slop- ing roofline which flows elegantly into the rear boot lid. The long, sleek design is enhanced even further due to the fact that the newcomer is 42 mm longer than its predecessor. The rear features horizontal tail lights with LED technology to complement the slim standard LED headlights upfront. The car which broke cover, the M440i xDrive, is the flagship in the range, that is until the M4 motor said to develop 190 kW and 400 N.m of pride of place on the facia which is somewhat comes along.
