Rohtak (Haryana) Army Recruitment Rally ARMY RECRUITMENT OFFICE - ROHTAK (HARYANA) ARMY RECRUITMENT RALLY 1. Army Recruitment Rally will be held for eligible male candidates of districts Rohtak, Jhajjar, Sonipat and Panipat from 20 Aug 2021 to 03 Sep 2021 at Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex, Rohtak (Haryana) for Soldier Technical, Technical (Aviation ‘X’ Group), Nursing Assistant and Nursing Assistant (Veterinary). The date and venue are tentative and might be changed. Online registration is mandatory and will be open from 06 J ul 2021 to 13 Aug 2021. Candidates are permitted to register and participate in one category only in a recruiting year cycle i.e. from 01 Apr to 31 Mar. Candidates who have already registered for Sol GD and Clk/SKT category should not register for Sol Technical category. Admit Cards for the rally will be sent through registered e-mail from 14 Aug 2021 onwards. Candidates should reach the venue on given date and time as mentioned in the Admit Card. 2. Sports Certificates should be with Registration Number and Gradation certificate duly signed by District Sports Officer. 3. Sec to 5 Min 45 Sec 8 27 7 21 6 16 3 Physical Measurement (At Rally Site) Physical Measurements will be carried out as per the physical standards listed at Para 2 above Medical Test (a) As per laid down medical standards at the Rally Site. (b) Unfit candidates will be referred to MH/CH/BH for specialist review. Candidates referred to specialist review should present themselves to the nominated MH/CH/BH on 5th day from date of generation of Medical Review barring Sundays and closed holidays and report back to ARO for issue of Admit Card for CEE in case declared FIT. Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE) (a) Will be conducted for medically fit candidates at nominated venue. Location, date and time of written test will be intimated at rally site and through Admit Cards. (b) Admit Card for the CEE for the Rally Fit candidates will be issued at Rally Site itself. (c) Admit card for the CEE for Review Fit cases of Sol GD, Sol Clk/SKT & Sol Technical categories will be issued at Army Recruiting Office, Rohtak after getting medically fit by concerned specialist / specialists at MH/CH/BH. 4. Candidates are required to bring following documents / certificates in original with two attested photocopies with them to the rally site :- (a) Admit Card. Printed with Laser Printer on good quality paper (Do not shrink the size). (b) Photograph. Twenty copies of unattested passport size colour photographs developed on good quality photographic paper in white background not more than three months old. Computer printouts/photoshopped photographs will NOT be accepted. SIKH and SIKH (M&R) candidates photographs should be with Turban/Patka. (c) Education Certificate. (i) Education Certificates with marks sheet in original of all educational qualifications achieved by candidate i.e. Matric / Intermediate /Graduation etc from recognized School / College / Board / University. (ii) Provisional / online education certificate should be certified ink signed by the head of the educational institution of concerned Board / University. (iii) Candidates with matric certificate from Open School should bring School Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate (TC) of last class attended in regular school duly countersigned by BEO / DEO. (d) Nativity/ Domicile Certificate. Nativity/ Domicile Certificate with photograph issued by the Tehsildar/District Magistrate. (e) Caste Certificate. Caste Certificate affixed with photograph issued by the Tehsildar/ District Magistrate. (f) Religion Certificate. Religion Certificate issued by the Tehsildar/SDM. (if religion as "SIKH/HINDU/MUSLIM/CHRISTIAN" is not mentioned in caste certificate). 4 (g) School Character Certificate. School Character Certificate issued by the School/ College Principal/ Headmaster where the candidate last studied. (h) Character Certificate. Character Certificate with photograph issued by village Sarpanch/ Municipal Corporation within last six months. (j) Unmarried Certificate. Unmarried Certificate for candidates less than 21 years of age with photograph issued by village Sarpanch/ Municipal Corporation within last six months. (k) Relationship Certificate. SOS/ SOEX/ SOW/ SOWW Candidates are required to produce the following documents :- (i) Relationship certificate issued from respective Record Office only duly signed by Record Officer with Personal number, Rank, Name and particular of the Record Officer issuing the Relationship Certificate with office seal/ stamp. (ii) A declaration to the effect as mentioned in Affidavit on Ten Rupees Non- Judicial Stamp paper prepared by the ESM duly signed by 1st Class/ Executive/ Judicial Magistrate is required to be submitted by the candidate at rally site. Format of affidavit is att as per Appendix A. (iii) Original Discharge Book of Ex-Serviceman also to be produced. Name and date of birth of the candidate must have been recorded in it. (l) NCC Certificate. NCC A/B/C Certificate and Republic Day Parade Certificate should have photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority. Provisional NCC A/B/C pass certificates will only be accepted if authenticated by concerned NCC Group Commanders. (m) Sports Certificate. Sports certificate issued by authorized sports federations are valid for three years from the issue date as on first day of the Recruitment Rally, for which the candidate is being screened. Sports certificates should be with registration number & gradation certificate of verification for list of sports under which relaxation in physical standards is admissible, attention is invited to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in website. The level of participation, positions and authorized sports federations for issue of ibid certificates are as follows :- S No Level Authorised Sports Federation for issue of Sports Certificate (i) Represented India at the International level Accredited Sports Federation of India of respective sport that has fielded the individual/team to represent India (ii) Represented State at the Senior/Junior National National Sports Federation of the level and have won any medal in individual event respective sports as recognized by or have reached upto eighth position in Team the Ministry of Youth Affairs & event. Sports (iii) (aa) Represented College/University in Inter Inter University Sports Board University Championship and have won any medal in individual event or have reached up to sixth position in the Team event. (ab) Represented State at National Level in National Sports Federation of the Khelo India Games and have won any medal in respective Sports/Sports Authority individual event of have reached upto sixth of India as recognized by the position in the Team event.

Flamingos are tallest water wading birds, have pink plumage with a long neck and legs compare to their body size. They are colonial birds. From October 2018 to August 2019 simultaneously a monthly census was conducted at 7 differen t locations. The purpose of our study is to define the distribution status of Greater Flamingo in Haryana. Point count method was adopted for determine their population size. We used the Garmin etrexGPS to map the location of their flocks throughout study period. A total of 1374±343 Greater Flamingo was recorded. Najafgarh Jheel Bird sanctuary is the site where Greater Flamingo were found to be concentrated in highest number. Occurrence of Greater Flamingo in Najafgarh Jheel Bird sanctuary and Ottu lakes throughout the year shows that these sites are ideal areas which are preferred by Greater Flamingo thus protecting their habitat is important for their existence.

The line transects method with constant length and variable width was used in the study. The presence of 111 species of birds belonging to 90 genera, 42 families and 17 orders were observed. Non-passerine bird species dominated over the passerine bird species in relative diversity. Data of residential status revealed that 82 species were resident and rest 29 were either winter or summer migrants. Sultanpur National Park supported 41 (36.9%) omnivorous, 29 (26.1%) carnivorous, 24 (21.6%) insectivorous, 9 (8.1%) granivorous, 6 (5.4%) frugivorous and 2 (1.8%) nectarivorous birds. It was further reported that Sultanpur National Park supported 1 endangered, 1 vulnerable and 6 near threatened species of birds. Analysis of population status as per IUCN re- vealed that 35 species were having stable, 32 decreasing, 25 increasing, 19 had unknown population trend. It is hoped that the study will be helpful in drawing attention, of the public and state government towards conservation of the Sultanpur National Park and, protection of its avian fauna.

    CHAPTER-IV REVOLT OF 1857 AND MUSLIMS IN HARYANA In order to understand the regional and micro-level behaviour and attitude of Muslim Community towards British Raj or Western Culture it is necessary to have a separate chapter in this study. Hence this chapter on the great Revolt deserve its place in the present study. The great Revolt proved to be a perfect and representative historical event to analyze the general political attitude of various sections of the Muslim community of Haryana. The Sepoys, the people and feudal chiefs all took part in this revolt in large number. Their participation and struggle displayed a general attitude of confrontation towards British Raj. The study regarding Haryana began with the regional description, structural understanding of the society of Haryana, general survey of revolt, the role of the princely states and masses and ends with the inference that muslims took part in this great revolt with vigour and enthusiasm and suffered more than any other community of Haryana. The present Haryana region’s political history may be attributed to the very beginning of the nineteenth century when the British East India Company came to the scene. The Marathas who had over the territory of Haryana were ousted from here by the British. By the treaty of Surji Anjangaon on 30 December, 1803 between Daulat Rao Sindhia and the British, the territory of Haryana passed on the British East India Company. The East India Company assumed the direct control of Delhi, Panipat, Sonepat, Samalkha, Ganaur, Palam, Nuh, Hathin, Bhoda, Sohna, Rewari, Indri, Palwal, Nagina and Ferozepur Zhrka and appointed a resident on behalf of the Governor General.

    TOURISM DEPARTMENT HARYANA CITIZEN CHARTER The Tourism Department Haryana came into existence in the year 1966 when the State of Haryana was created as a separate State from joint Punjab. The office of the Tourism Department Haryana is located at SCO-17-19, Sector –17 B, Chandigarh. The primary function of the Tourism Department is to develop tourism infrastructure in the public sector and private sector. The development of tourism infrastructure in the public sector is done by way of funds received from the State Govt. in its annual/five year plans. In addition, the Tourism Department makes efforts to get maximum possible Central Financial Assistance from Govt. of India for creation of tourism infrastructure. Once developed and furnished the tourist complexes are handed over to the Haryana Tourism Corporation for their maintenance and operation as an agent of the State Government.
