The Aero Club de France also gives all sorts of chateaux and windmills. I suppose they are all very well when one is flying low, but after all one chateau is much like another, and there are so many of them that I think there is too much detail put in. The idea is to have the map' free of unimportant detail, so that when you see some outstandinlg or unique feature through the clouds you can find it quickly on your map before clouds close over the gap and you are lost again.

RECOMMENDATIONS To secure budget savings by: 1. Authorising the Director of Transport and Environment to negotiate the withdrawal of the supported local bus services identified in Appendix A. 2. Taking no action to secure the evening and Saturday only services which have been included in the Review of Supported Local Bus Services in the Lewes and South Wealden Area. 3. Responding to the commercial service changes announced by Stagecoach South Coast Buses by taking the action proposed in Appendix A. 4. Authorising the Director of Transport and Environment to review fare levels on supported local bus services, subject to no individual adult single fare increasing by more than 10 pence or 10 per cent, whichever is the higher. Supporting Information 1. On 6 June 2000, the Cabinet Committee considered a report on the 2000/2001 Revenue Budget for Passenger Transport. This identified the need to achieve savings to stay within the original budget set by the County Council. They are always informative, often inspiring and sometimes really rather poetic. This year’s Adastra has left a bitter sweet taste for me. There is incredible activity going on, and in such detail as we discover more and more about our biodiversity. However to temper this Colin Pratt states in his article that in his experience a moth trap now (and he names two very heavily recorded locations as way of example) will catch just a third of the moths that it would have caught in 1970. This shocking statistic unfortunately tallies with anecdotal references to the plummeting of aquatic invertebrate numbers that we often hear in our Committee for Biological Recording meetings.
