Starting in January, we are kicking off the “Get Fit NMB – 30 Minute Walking Club” where groups of employees will gather together and take a 30 minute walk down N.E. 19 Avenue. In February, we will be holding monthly lunch and learn sessions for employees to learn more about health, emotional and financial wellness. There are other wellness events that are being scheduled through- out the year. We are excited about implementing NEOGOV in the next few months. NEOGOV is an applicant tracking system that would allow applicants to apply on-line. Above: On the second Saturday in December the City of North Miami Beach held its annual Snow Fest event and Community Safety Day Parade along NE 19th Avenue between 171st & 164th Streets. Thousands of attendees enjoyed musical entertainment, rides, pictures with Santa, and some of the tastiest treats from a variety of food trucks and vendors. The evening was started with the Community Safety Day Parade , which included floats, high school march- ing bands and holiday characters! It was a night to remember for everyone.

On Veterans Day, the City of North Miami Beach honored the brave military men and women who served this great country. A special service was held to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and to pay trib- ute to the veterans who have served and those who continue to preserve our freedom.
