647 W. 28th St., Los Angeles 19 USC VILLAGE

USC Village, opened in the summer of 2017, is located within convenient walking distance of the subject property, on Jefferson Boulevard between Hoover Street and McClintock Avenue.

The $700 million project represents the biggest expansion ever of the University Park Campus, covering 15 acres and representing 1.2 million square feet of residential, retail, dining, recreation, and public space.

The addition of 663 residential units were proposed by the University in an effort to relieve the shortfall of residential units in the submarket. Notwithstanding this new supply, the shortfall of residential units in the USC submarket will continue to persist. This supply shortfall combined with continued student enrollment growth at the University are expected to present favorable student housing investment dynamics into the foreseeable future.
