Activities include animation in period costume on the museum grounds, a mass at the Catholic Church, a traditional corn planting, and a parade that will begin at the church and end at the museum around noon. 12:30 p.m. Lunch ($) Duke & Devine’s Irish Pub 429 Saint-Charles, Vaudreuil 2:00 p.m. Visit to Quebec Family History Society Simon Fraser House (built 1790-1810) 153 Sainte-Anne Street, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Refreshments / Free parking 2:30 p.m. Talk: “From the Fur Trade to Fair Trade: A History of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue” Speaker: Ryan Young Faculty member, Media Arts, John Abbott College Historian & Documentary filmmaker 3:30 p.m. Guided walking tour Waterfront, overlooking Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue Canal National Historic Site Tour begins at the Simon Fraser House. Join QAHN as we celebrate our 20th anniversary on Montreal’s West Island and in Vaudreuil. We’ve got lots in store for you! On Saturday, we’ll be at John Abbott College in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, where we’ll take the opportunity to salute this institution which has been so important for the community it serves, and which is celebrating an anniversary of its own: its 50th! On Sunday, we’ll take in a number of historic sites in Vaudreuil and Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, including the superb Musée régional de Vaudreuil- Soulanges, the annual Seigneuriales festival, and the historic Simon Fraser House, home to the Quebec Family History Society.
