Dear Parents and Carers,

Over the next three weeks, we have many exciting events happening, with Year 6 being kept busy and there are some events that we would like to remind you about, to make sure that no one misses out.

On Thursday 18th July, we have our Leavers’ Trip to Brighton Marina. This will be at Brighton Hollywood Bowl and we will return to school for a leaver’s BBQ. As lunch will be provided, we will not be asking you to provide a packed lunch although if you feel your child may need a snack, then please provide one for them. For this trip, all children must wear school uniform; please make sure they are wearing appropriate footwear for bowling. We are asking for a £1 contribution for this trip so please send this in with the reply slip below, confirming your child’s attendance.

For the Leavers’ Assembly, on Friday 26th July, we will be inviting you to join us in the main hall at 12.30pm. This will be an opportunity for you to watch the Leavers’ DVD before the rest of the school join us. As part of their Leavers gift, each child will receive a copy of the DVD however we need your permission for your child’s photos to be used; please complete the slip below. The assembly will finish around 1.45pm after which all children will be sent back to class to gather their belongings. At 2:00p.m. all children will be allowed to go home; please collect them from the playground as usual.
