The 10th annual Rotary Charity Duck Race on Saturday, June 4 was a huge success. Children and families enjoyed games, food, music, a duck decorating contest, and a Corvette Car Show. About 1,000 people attended the event at Children’s Park on Daniel Island. The duck race came off flawlessly, with one lucky duck winning $10,000 for the person who adopted it. Several Daniel Island residents won $1,000 and four people in attendance each won a $500 door prize.
