I am so glad that you are able to join us for the 45th annual running of this great race! The last me the Naonals were held in Wichita, Kansas was in 1988. I spoke with a couple of racers that were at that event and they offered me some advice, “when the tornado warning sirens sound, do what the local guys are doing. They will know what to do and where to go!” So keep your eyes and ears open everyone. I have been fortunate enough to have raced all over the country, and while I have always enjoyed the racing part of it, the most enjoyable part for me about the Naonals is the people. It is an opportunity to spend me with people that we don’t get to see the rest of the year. So make sure you get around and see everyone, because it’s the people you spend me with and the new friends you make that will be your fondest memo- ries. While we are all here trying to win a Naonal championship, and the race commiee is doing everything possible to host this great event, it is sll up to each and every racer to show good sportsmanship and most of all have fun. So let’s all do our part and make it a great me for everyone! Good luck, Russell Stark NAMBA President 4 Schedule Of Events Day: Class: Sponsor: Acvies: Monday A Mono 5280 Racing Welcome Party June 13th C Hydro AA Engines G-1 Mono NAMBA District 19 GX-1 Outrigger Tucson Model Boat Club GX-2 Sport Hydro Chrome Brothers Racing Tuesday A Mod Tunnel Concentrics, Inc June 14th B Mono Seaducer Boats G-1 Sport Hydro Velasco' s Billet Crankshas GX-1 Catamaran Kids-R-Boaters Wednesday B Hydro AA Engines Paddle Boat Race June 15th C Mono Rum Racing Products & Dinner G-1 Outrigger Velasco' s Billet Crankshas GX-2 Catamaran Thursday A Hydro AA Engines June 16th G-1 Catamaran Insane Boats Gas Marathon Gas Scale Hydro NAMBA District 11 GX-2 Mono X Mono NAMBA District 19 Friday A OPC Tunnel Concentrics, Inc June 17th GX-1 Mono GX-1 Sport Hydro Insane Boats GX-2 Outrigger Rum Racing Products X Hydro AA Engines Saturday 1/8 Nitro Scale Double-Ace Racing Products Awards Banquet June 18th Classic Thunderboat Outlaw Racing GX-1 Crackerbox NAMBA District 20 Jersey Skiff Sport 40-II NAMBA District 1 5 Then & Now...
