EST. VH1 Classic will premiere the one-hour version on Saturday 6/6/2015 at 9 P.M. ET/PT Los Angeles, CA --- Toto’s most recent DVD/Blu-Ray release – 35 th Anniversary Tour - Live In Poland will receive its broadcast debut on Palladia, Viacom’s high-def music channel, this Friday June 5 th at 9PM EST. An hour-long version of the show will begin airing on VH1 Classic on Saturday, June 6 th at 9PM EST. Filmed on June 25, 2013 in Lodz, Poland, the offering captures the band in the midst of a standing-room-only European tour. The two-hour plus performance features Toto's hit-stocked repertoire alongside other favorites. The complete show includes: Intro, Medley: "On The Run" / "Child's Anthem" / "Goodbye Eleanor," "Goin' Home," "Hydra," "St. George And The Dragon," "I'll Be Over You," "It's A Feeling," "Rosanna," "Wings Of Time," "Falling In Between," "I Won't Hold You Back," "Pamela," "99," "The Muse," "White Sister," "Better World," "Africa," "How Many Times," "Stop Loving You," "Hold The Line," and "Home Of The Brave." Upon its release the DVD/Blu-Ray debuted #1 around the globe. The 35TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR - LIVE IN POLAND release captures Toto's European tour that hit 29 cities staging successful concerts in Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. Toto World Tour 2013 featured Luke, David Paich, Steve Porcaro on keyboards, and singer Joseph Williams, who sang the hits "Pamela" and "Stop Loving You" on the worldwide platinum release The Seventh One (1988). Williams is also featured on the platinum certified Fahrenheit (1986), Toto XX (1998), the track "Bottom of Your Soul" on Falling In Between (2006), the multi- platinum release Past to Present 1977-1990 issued in 1990 along with the band’s most recent album: TOTO XIV which debuted Top 10 on the charts in nine countries (Germany #4, Netherlands #2, Japan #2, Denmark #7, Czech Republic #10, Finland #5, Norway #6, Sweden #4 and Switzerland #3). TOTO XIV also became the first new studio album to chart in the US & UK since 1988’s The Seventh One . As we will discuss, there is a variety of tasks to be considered, such as collection visualization, play-list generation, or the automatic recommendation of music. While this thesis doesn’t deal with any of these problems in deep detail it aims to provide a useful contribution to their solution in form of a set of music complexity descriptors.

    Toto – Toto XIV (56:43, CD,Frontiers Music/Soulfood, 2015) Seit 1977 sind Toto nun am Start. Heuer kommt Ihr 14. Studioalbum auf den Markt. Schlicht und einfach mit der durchlaufenden römischen Ziffer betitelt: XIV. Acht Jahre sind seit „Falling In Between“ vergangen, dem letzten Studioalbum. Die lange Schaffenspause war der Kreativität nicht abträglich. Der Einstieg in diesen neuesten Output startet mit einem echten Hammer. Nach vorne gerichtete Beats in ‚Running Out Of Time‘ rocken richtig ab. Das ist ein wahrer Headbanger. Das macht Lust auf mehr. Allerdings war es das dann auch schon fast mit Stadionrock. Denn ab jetzt herrscht wieder gut gemachte Langeweile. Allerdings auf eine Art und Weise, die unnachahmlich ist. Toto haben sich die Kunst erarbeitet, Rocksongs in eine seichte Popdecke zu packen. Ab und an hauen Gitarrenriffs vonSteve Lukather dazwischen und Keith Carlock stampft die Trommeln. Das ist wohl das Geheimnis. Musikalisch wird das Album ziemlich aufgebauscht, Horn- Arrangements inklusive, um mit sanften Stimmen den Hörer einzulullen. Joseph Williams ist der Hauptsänger, der von drei Bandmitgliedern und fünf Backroundsänger/innen unterstützt wird. Gleich vier Bassspieler sind aufgeführt. David Hungate steht an erster Stelle. Er gehörte zu den Gründungsmitgliedern von Toto, verliess 1982 die Band und ist nun wieder dabei. Lee Sklar, das ist der Mann mit dem urigen Bartwuchs bis tief zum Bauchnabel, Tim Lefebvre und Tal Wilkenfeld, unter anderem Bassistin bei Jeff Beck, helfen dabei, einen fundierten Klangteppich zu entwickeln. XIV eignet sich hervorragend als Hintergrundmusik in phantastischer Aufnahmequalität, wie nicht anders zu erwarten. Wer noch keine Toto-Scheibe sein eigen nennt, sei zum Kauf dieser Veröffentlichung aufgefordert.
