NORTHBROOK COTTAGES, TITNORE LANE, WORTHING BN12 6NZ An existing detached house was demolished for the construction of five houses. The winner of the Sussex Heritage Person of the Year Award 2016 was Anthony C. D. Kindell from Aldershaw Handmade Tiles. Nominated by the Director of Aldershaw Handmade Tiles, Lindy Latreille, the Award recognised Anthony’s contribution to the conservation of many prestigious buildings both nationally and internationally and the handmade process of using the 150-year-old Wadhurst clay to create terracotta tiles.
