ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION: Teston Bridge Country Park Pre-arrival • Location - for full contact details and maps of how to reach us, please see the ‘Find us’ information on www.kent.gov.uk/testonbridge • Arriving by car – Signposted on Teston Lane (B1263), the park is in Teston, just off A26 between Maidstone and Tonbridge. Follow the brown and white signs. There is a pay and display car park available at the park (see the “Arrival” section below for details). If you are a Blue Badge holder, you can obtain an annual season ticket in advance of your visit, which gives you access to all the Kent Country Park car parks free of charge during the year. There is a £3 admin fee for this service. To obtain your season ticket, please call 03000 41 72 72, and have your Blue Badge number and credit/debit card handy for reference. • Arriving by public transport - nearest train station is Wateringbury (3 miles). • Nearest taxi company – Express Cabs on 01622 222222 • By bus - from Tonbridge direction: Arriva bus no 7. From Maidstone direction: Arriva bus no 6 or 7. For enquires, phone Traveline on 0871 200 22 33. The bus drops you off on the Tonbridge Road. Arrival • There are 2 allocated disabled parking spaces. These are all hard standing spaces within the car park. There are an additional 23 hard standing car park spaces and 25 grass spaces in the overflow car park • The parking fee at Teston Bridge Country Park is £1.20 Monday – Friday and £2.00 at weekends and on Bank Holidays. Coaches are not permitted. Visitor Facilities • Toilets There is a unisex accessible toilet which is open at all times. This facility can be reached via easy access pathways and does not require a Radar key to access it. Toilet facilities are available at all times when the park main gates are open. • Cafe No café, but an ice cream van is based at the park at peak times. Park Facilities • There is an easy access path from the car park to the lock area, returning on the same path. The route is surfaced and flat. • There is a play area at the far end of the car park. This area is on level ground, with a wood chip surface and surrounded by a fence but can be accessed through a gateway. .
