This paper presents the steps for integrating SAS and Windows Gadgets. Worked examples, with source code, are demonstrated along with options for deployment. Finally, the pros and cons of delivering information this way are considered. Those attending this paper are not expected to have experience of creating Desktop Gadgets, however an appreciation of web pages, object orientated programming and the SAS Integration Technologies product will be useful to take the most from this paper.
