Foremost, we congratulate Mr Vijay Kumar Malhotra on being appointed as President of the All India Council of Sports (Rank of Minister of State) Government of India. A feeling of pride and joy on one hand and some sadness on the other, as he had to resign as our President after years of resolve and dedicated service for the cause of Archery. We will miss him and wish to thank him for his leadership and guidance that has helped Indian Archery grow from its infancy to a position at the pinnacle of World Archery. We are now recognized all over the world as a force to reckon with in Archery. Our Archers in Recurve and Compound division, both men and women in the senior, junior and sub-junior categories are considered among the best. Our Coaches are being sought after by various countries, having seen the performance of our Archers. Our Judges have been recognized as being very competent and have been given assignments at major World events and have been bestowed with important responsibilities.
