NBA AND UBI BANCA ANNOUNCE MULTIYEAR PARTNERSHIP IN ITALY

– UBI Banca Becomes League’s First Official Banking Partner in Italy –

MILAN, Sept. 2, 2016 – The National Basketball Association (NBA) and UBI Banca, one of Italy’s leading banks, announced today a multiyear marketing partnership that makes UBI Banca the exclusive retail banking partner of the NBA in Italy and the league’s first financial services partner in the country.

The partnership offers UBI Banca customers the opportunity to use NBA-branded prepaid cards featuring any one of the 30 NBA team logos, available now in branches and online at ubibanca.com. In addition, several UBI Banca branches will feature NBA-branded corners, and UBI Banca ATMs across Italy will feature NBA promotions aiming to increase engagement with a younger clientele. UBI Banca will further facilitate access to the NBA by offering their customers the chance to win tickets and behind-the-scenes access to NBA Global Games and NBA games in the U.S. each year.
