WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICE Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (C2115 Peopleton to A422 Upton Snodsbury, Peopleton)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017 Proposed Order: to close that part of C2115 Peopleton to A422 Upton Snodsbury, Peopleton from its junction with U47402 Monks Way for a distance of 560 metres in a northerly direction in order to facilitate Severn Trent works. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2017 [Revocation of No Loading and Unloading on New Street, Worcester] On 9 November 2017 Worcestershire County Council made an Order giving permanent effect to an Experimental Order made on 22 December 2016 the effect of which will be to revoke no loading and unloading Monday - Sunday 7.30am - 7.00pm on the following length and side of road in Worcester: New Street (eastside) from a point 27 metres north of its junction with Windsor Row for a distance of 37 metres in a northerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 30 November 2017. A copy of the Order, relevant map and Statement of Reasons for making the Order may be inspected at Worcester City Council, Customer Service Centre, The Hive, Sawmill Walk, The Butts, Worcester, WR1 3PB and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity of the Council’s powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made. (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2017 [Various Waiting Restrictions on Brook Street, Worcester] Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of road in Worcester:- Brook Street (south side) from its junction with Barbourne Road for a distance of 6.7 metres in an easterly direction; (north side) from a point 22.2 metres east of its junction with Barbourne Road for a distance of 13.8 metres in an easterly direction. Limit Waiting 45 minutes no return within 2 hours Monday - Saturday 8.00am - 6.30pm from a point 17 metres east of its junction with Barbourne Road for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction. Goods Vehicle only Loading/ Unloading from a point 6.7 metres east of its junction with Barbourne Road for a distance of 10.3 metres in an easterly direction. (City of Worcester) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2011 (Variation) Order 2017 [Prohibition of Waiting (Proposals and Revocation) on Cornmeadow Lane, Worcester] Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of road in Worcester:- Cornmeadow Lane (south east side) from a point 183 metres south west of its junction with Claines Lane for a distance of 20 metres in a south westerly direction; from a point 255.5 metres south west of its junction with Claines Lane for a distance of 25.5 metres in a south westerly direction. Revoke prohibition of waiting at any time from a point 48.5 metres south west of its junction with Claines Lane for a distance of 5 metres in a south westerly direction; from a point 132.5 metres south west of its junction with Claines Lane for a distance of 18 metres in a south westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: C2024 Stockton, A443 Stockton, A443 Stockton Road, A443 Elms Green, A443 Stockton Road, C2230 The Common, B4202 Clows Top Road, B4202 Pensax and vice versa.
