Abstract The study highlights the Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and Threats in Federal University of Lafia Library. It examined the staff in terms of their numbers, professional status, educational qualifications and allocation and all the departments in the library. This is done in terms of their support of the university mission. Identify available information resources, ascertain the number of students registered with the library in comparison to the available resources and seating capacity. Documentary sources (records) from the Library and the Academic department were used as data. Personal observation and interview method were instruments used for data collection.
