END OF ADDENDUM #2 EXHIBIT F1 Expansion Joints Scope of Work and Criteria WEBCOR BUILDERS April 1, 2016 Expansion Joints Bid Package 7731A-36-P2.3-49 Moscone Center Expansion Project Phases 2 and 3 SECTION 1: SCOPE OF WORK: The Expansion Joints Scope of Work (Subcontractor Work or Work) shall include the cost of all necessary labor, material, equipment, supplies, and supervision required to complete the Expansion Joints for the Moscone Center Expansion Project in accordance with the Contract Documents, which are identified in Exhibit A of the Standard Long Form Subcontract. Exhibit F1 Scope of Work and Criteria Page 1 of 3 V1.0 Subcontractor Contractor Initial Initial EXHIBIT F1 Expansion Joints Scope of Work and Criteria WEBCOR BUILDERS SECTION 2: SPECIFIC INCLUSIONS: As a further clarification, the Subcontractor shall furnish and install the Expansion Joints as outlined in the Contract Documents. The Subcontractor Work shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, all general project requirements set forth in the Project Manual (Exhibit F) and the following trade specific requirements: 1. Seismic and Expansion Joints: Subcontractor shall design, furnish and install all expansion joint assemblies per the Contract Documents, including but not limited to the following: Expansion joints in interior and exterior walls, floors, ceilings, concrete slabs on metal decks, roof, and building envelope systems. Subcontractor shall furnish and install all associated and required components for expansion joint assemblies including but not limited to the following: Fire barriers, moisture barriers, anchor bolts, fasteners, centering and/or control bars, bellows, gaskets, pans and frames, base plates, flashings and sheet metal, sealants and backer rod, fire rated joint covers and silicone sheet membranes per the Contract Documents. 1.1 Include all required components of all joints indicated in the contract documents labeled as EJC-1, EJC-2, EJC-3, EJC-4, EJC-5, EJC-6, EJC-7, EJC-8, and EJC-9. 1.2 Include replacement of seismic joint cover at the North building stair landing per P3/A1.300.22 and detail 3 on P3/A1.300.24. 1.3 Include preformed foam seismic seal at West Bridge in accordance with Specification 07 92 00 2.2.G. Reference drawings P23-A1.8.15 and P23-A1.8.20. 1.4 Subcontractor shall furnish and install all silicon sheet flashing in accordance with Specification 084400 2.4.A. Reference details 5 and 25 on P23-A8.8.03 and detail 31 on P23-A8.8.11. 2. Mock-up: Subcontractor to include Visual- and Testing Mock-ups for each type of expansion joint cover in accordance with Specification 07 95 13 1.6.E. 3. Finish: Subcontractor to include all finishes as shown in the contract documents, including any priming, coatings and paint. 4. Shimming/Leveling: Subcontractor shall provide and install any shims, grout leveling or filling as required to complete the Subcontractor Work. 5. Touch-Up: Include all touch-up and field paint as described in Contract Specifications. 6. Fasteners, Anchorage and Supports: Subcontractor shall design, furnish and install all expansion joint supports per the Contract Documents, including but not limited to the following: Bent aluminum plates, bent steel plates, stainless steel formed plates and steel angles. Also, provide all soldering, welding, seaming, fasteners, cleats, and any other attachment methods and accessories necessary or required to complete this scope of work. 7. Exterior and Interior Caulking and Sealants: Subcontractor shall furnish and install all caulking and sealants at exterior and interior expansion joint assemblies as required and indicated in the Contract Documents. All exterior sealant joints shall be furnished and installed water tight. Caulking application must be reviewed and approved in writing by the caulking manufacturer. Subcontractor shall guarantee sealant compatibility with other finished or unfinished surfaces. Coordination: Coordinate with other trades whose work is adjacent to, penetrates, or ties into flashing systems including curtain wall, metal soffits, electrical outlets, scuppers, roof drains, flashings, expansion joints, vent piping and weeps, etc. to ensure a water tight system and no gaps in scope. 9. Protection: Subcontractor to protect all finish surfaces. Provide all masking, covering, and clean up required to prevent damage to any finish surfaces. 10. Hoisting: Subcontractor to include all loading, unloading, hoisting, staging, rigging, work platforms, scaffolding, boom lifts, fork lifts, scissor lifts or other means necessary for the complete operation of work installed by this Subcontractor. 11. Design Coordination: Subcontractor shall provide all required design coordination including at a minimum Coordination with the Contractor, Architect, Consultants, Inspection Agencies, and all adjacent Subcontractors of all critical criteria, limitations, and requirements necessary for all fully functional systems. Subcontractor shall actively coordinate with Concrete and Metal Stud/Drywall Subcontractors for all required block-outs, depressions, curbs, and other concrete elements as they relate to the proper installation of scope items. 12. Debris Boxes: Subcontractor shall include all debris boxes necessary for your Work. As indicated in Exhibit F – Project General Requirements, Contractor may elect to do a Project wide debris box usage program. Due to site limits there will be limited debris boxes allowed on Project site at any one time. 13. LEED: Subcontractor to comply with LEED Performance Requirements outlined in the Contract Documents. 14. Attachment A: Attachment A has been provided with specific details highlighted to illustrate general delineation of scope between this Subcontractor and other trades. Delineation on specific details applies to all similar details and should be used as a guide in conjunction with the Contract Documents and Scope of Work and Criteria.
