It was with much sadness that the executive accepted the Indigenous people and Jews resignation of our long- standing and dedicated President, Dr Dvir Abramovich, in both his roles as President of the AAJS and as Editor *Book review of the AJJS. So too, did we accept the resignation of Dvir’s Co-Editor, Associate Professor Ziva Shavitsky. Both Dvir and Ziva cited *Student Journal of Canadian personal reasons and w respect their decisions, whilst lamenting the *Studies loss to the association. However, it goes without saying that we are enormously indebted to them both for their longstanding and untiring *Membershiop commitment to Jewish studies and to the maintenance and Fees for 2010 management of the only association of its kind in Australia.
