EXPLANATORY NOTE The object of this Proclamation is to amend Schedule 1 to the Dams Safety Act 1978 by adding to that Schedule certain dams which the Dams Safety Committee considers may present a safety hazard to life, property or the environment, and to omit from that Schedule those dams which the Committee considers no longer present such a hazard.
