1. Major Meetings since last Congress Participation in all ICF Executive Meetings and ICF Board Meetings Several meetings with Boats manufacture regarding additional sponsoring Achievements: Donation of 2 Dragonboats from Company Champion to DPRK (North Korea) Donation of 5 Sprint Boats from Company Plastex to DPRK Delivery of additional 20 Sprint boats for an amount of 10 TEURO by Company Plastex – distribution to 4 NF`s on 4 Continents Participation in meetings of the Sprint Committee as well as of the Committee December 2016 – Meeting with the NOC President Senegal March 2017 – Meetings with several representatives of African Canoe Federations in the frame of the African Junior and U 23 Championship in Morocco April 2017 – Participation on the ECA Congress in Rumania April 2017 – Meeting with the NOC President Tunisia in Tunis together with the NF May 2017 – Meeting with the Indian Deputy Sports Minister in Delhi together with the NF June 2017 and October 2017 – Meeting with IDBF representatives in Hongkong and Rome June 2017 – Meeting with the Swedish Canoe Federation and exchange about the future development of June 2017 – Meeting with British and discussions about the future of our sport July 2017 – Presentation of the ICF structure during a SUP World Cup in Scharbeutz and meetings with several key stakeholders of the SUP sport as well as with professional athletes September 2017 – meeting with SUP representatives and establishing of an ICF SUP Commission

October 2017 – meeting with the Chinese Canoe Federation in Shanghai and discussions about Sprint events in China December 2017/March 2018/April 2018 – meetings with NELO and SUP stakeholders to prepare an ICF SUP Worldchampionship January 2018 – meeting with potential organizer of Sprint events in Barnaul/Siberia and local politicians and sponsors February 2018 – meeting with the Uzbekistan Sports Minister and the NOC President together with the NF and discussions about ICF development activities April 2018 – meeting with the Iranian NOC President and with the Deputy Sports Minister together with the NF June 2018 – meetings with the South Korean Canoe Federation in Seoul and discussion about the start of a joint team from both Korean States at the Asian Games July 2018 – meetings with NOC representatives of the DPRK NOC and the DPRK Canoe Federation (North Korea) in Pyongyang and discussions about the start of a joint Dragon Boat team in the Asian Games September 2018 – meeting with the Chinese NOC Vice President in the frame of the Asian Games and furthermore meetings with several Asian NF`s September 2018 – meeting with the Chinese Sports Minister and NOC President and discussions about the future development of Canoe in China October 2018 – meeting with the President of the Turkish Canoe Federation

2.Tasks undertaken for this period My main objectives were the support of national Canoe projects and strengthening of the position of the national Canoe Federations by lobbying with national representatives Improvements in sponsoring and discussions with several manufactures to increase the provision of boats for development countries Looking for potential organizers for commercial Sprint events with sufficient price money for athletes and working with to organize the 2 ICF Super Cups 2018 Helping with to make the start of a joint Dragon Boat team from both Korean Countries at the Asian Games possible Working with to introduce improvements in sports presentation on Canoe Sprint events Collecting of approximately 100 used boats as donations for development countries Developing together with the CSPC of the future strategy for Sprint and several discussions about this with NF`s and athletes

3. Issues and Main Points of Report Developing of the 4 pillars strategy for Sprint and decision about the future Olympic Program 2024 and following years Increase and improvement of the boat’s donation in the frame of the ICF Development program and discussions in principle about a new efficiency and transparency in the ICF Development activities in Sprint, Dragon Boat and Marathon Looking for and organizing of new Sprint formats to extend the season and creating of new public and media friendly Sprint formats Strengthening of our sports position in Asia and America Introduction and implementation of a better sports presentation of Canoe Sprint

4. Future Initiatives and Tasks Discussion with the ICF Vice President in charge and NF`s and Continental Representatives about the efficiency of the ICF Development program Continue to work on a media and public friendly sports presentation in Sprint To develop the market in Asia and America and Africa for Sprint and Marathon events and make Sprint and Marathon there more popular. Asia and America are the key market for the future of our sport. Help to develop Canoe in Africa and support there the NF`s. To present a clear Sprint strategy in terms of events and distances for the future Olympic Games to the NF`s and athletes to give a clear planning security to athletes and NF`s. To help NF`s around the world to implement their national Canoe projects to improve their position and to gain more support by national sources To increase the awareness for Canoe recreational activities to showcase the connection between competition sport and recreational sport and involvement in projects to use the whole power of our sport for public presentation Continue to work on a closer cooperation with the IDBF Development of a professional ICF structure within the ICF and our NF`s

5. Recommendations The discussion between the ICF representatives and our National and Continental Federations is a crucial point to develop our sport. Therefore, is a closer involvement and regular discussions and exchange of opinions even outside of our ICF Congresses necessary. To continue of the commenced way to develop professional Sprint events to make our sport more popular.
