Bombardier Traxx – Wikipedia Seite 1 von 21 Bombardier Traxx aus Wikipedia, der freien Enzyklopädie Bombardier Traxx (Markenname von Bombardier für locomotives platform for transnational railway applications with e xtreme fle xibility , Eigenschreibweise von Bombardier Transportation in Großbuchstaben: TRAXX ) heißt eine von Bombardier hergestellte Typenfamilie elektrischer und dieselelektrischer Lokomotiven für den Einsatz im mittelschweren Güter- und Personenzugverkehr. Die Endmontage der Lokomotiven erfolgt im Bombardier-Werk Kassel, einem Teil des ehemaligen Henschel-Werkes. Insgesamt sind heute über 1230 Lokomotiven der Traxx- 145-CL 012 der HGK Familie von europäischen Bahngesellschaften im Einsatz oder bestellt, die am Ende des Artikels unter Weitere Traxx-Lokomotiven aufgeführten Baureihen nicht mitgezählt. Darunter befinden sich alleine 719 Loks der Serien Traxx 2 und Traxx 2E . Die Serien Traxx , Traxx 2 und Traxx 2E umfassen auch Mehrsystemlokomotiven für den grenzüberschreitenden Verkehr. Nach Angaben Bombardiers wurden bislang mehr als 1600 Lokomotiven dieses Typs für den Personen- und Gütertransport in Europa verkauft und sind in 17 Ländern im Einsatz. Die Deutsche Bahn besitzt mit über 700 Einheiten die größte Traxx-Flotte.
