SCHEME PURPOSE Ex-gratia Nagaland Government today launched the Nagaland Ex-gratia Scheme for Students (Nagaland) Studying outside Nagaland belonging to any recognized scheduled tribes and indigenous inhabitants of the state. Aims: Students who die outside the state while pursuing secular, technical, professional, diploma and theology courses. Five crore Rupees will be kept in a fixed deposit and the interest accruing from the deposit will be utilized for payment of ex-gratia amounting to five lakh rupees to the nominee of the deceased students. “Swachh-Nirmal Tat Abhiyan” Environment Ministry began with its cleanliness cum awareness drive in 50 beaches under a (Environment Ministry) campaign called “Swachh-Nirmal Tat Abhiyan”. SURYA KIRAN – XIV’ India and Nepal Joint military exercise ‘SURYA KIRAN – XIV’ between India and Nepal will be conducted at Salijhandi, Rupendehi district of Nepal from 03 to 16 December 2019. Aims: This exercise is to conduct a Battalion level combined training between Indian Army and Nepal Army to increase interoperability in jungle warfare and counter terrorist operations in mountainous terrain, humanitarian assistance and disaster relief, medical and environmental conservation including aviation aspects.

The supersonic missile, with a strike-range of over 290 km, was test- fired from the Navy’s stealth destroyer INS Kochi, hitting a decommissioned target ship in the Arabian Sea. The second ship of Project 15-A “Kolkata-class” guided missile destroyer test-fired the advanced missile during a naval drill in the west coast.
