His first ‘official release’ was a song that he wrote in tribute to one of his MTV reality show - The Real World (2006) - co-stars Diem Brown titled “Beautiful Girls” premeiring in People Magazine. His followup and second single “Anyone Would Know,” remixed by Swedish DJ John Dahlback released in the summer of 2017 on Armada Records and was impressively streamed on over 400 playlists worldwide. Mallory released his debut EP “Loud” in 2017 on his independent label Lionboy Records, with the music video for single “Be Without You” premiering on the influential music and culture website PopDust. The single “Because of Love,” a collaboration with French artist Vorden premiered in Dance Music website Your EDM. The title track “Loud” was remixed by EDM artist Landis and signed to Cedric Gervais’ label Delecta. The track “Not That Far Away” received significant retail radio play in both the US and France thus opening up the door to a 3-song project with French DJ Loic Penillo: “Thinking of U” signed to Warner Denmark, as well as “Dance With Me” (aired on MTV France and nominated for Best Music Video at the 2018 International Out Web Awards) and “Drink You Away” both singles signed to the French label Sidekick Music. Other international music and video releases in 2018 include “Sun and Moon” which premiered in Billboard and was favorably reviewed by Huffington Post Senior Reporter - Curtis M. Wong. “Pitter Patter” produced by 17-year-old Swedish artist KAAG was released on Warner Denmark. “Lost” produced by Peruvian DJ Aaron Marz was nominated for Best Music Video by DJ Mag Peru. “Let Me Go In Peace” a duet with female EDM vocalist Luma and produced by Indian DJ Cosmos debuted #2 on India’s iTunes Alternative Charts and supported by Asia’s largest music festival Sunburn. “Downtown” produced by Russian artist Deekey, and released on the Russian label Which Bottle?, has a forthcoming music video directed by Emmy-winning fimmaker Josh Shreve. Most recently DAVIS released his first solo single of 2019 “Shirtless.” DAVIS’ recording of the song played on MTV’s The Challenge and can currently be heard on a commercial for Poolboy Swimwear. In the spring of 2019, DAVIS accepted an invitation to perform on the first ever approved remake of the hit song “Blue” by Eiffel 65 to commemorate its 20th anniversary, produced by Italian Djs Alex Pizzuti & Adalwolf released on Swiss dance label Sirup. DAVIS recently teamed up with popular Italian artist DJs From Mars on the release “Dance 2 the Beat”. DAVIS Mallory’s current focus is on his follow-up project, written and recorded largely in Stockholm, Sweden, scheduled for an early 2020 release. Enough about me About a month ago a friend forwarded me an article about Diem Brown, MTV’s tiny, blond reality show dynamo. In September 2005, just after being selected for the show, Diem, then 24, was diagnosed with stage 2 ovarian cancer (only 30 percent of women survive advanced stages of the disease). She had one of her ova- ries, several lymph nodes and part of one of her Walking in New York fallopian tubes removed.
