PAST LIFE ENERGY IMPACTS CURRENT LIFE: TREATING CLIENTS WITH RESISTANT ISSUES

Session E: Sunday, June 1, 2014; 8:00 – 10:00 A.M.

Expanding our focus from current life energy to past life energy offers therapists a powerful tool when dealing with clients’ upsetting issues. It is well documented how effective energy psychology is in healing and altering difficulties our clients present. However, sometimes our best efforts fall short. My experience as a psychologist and past life therapist is that directing the treatment focus to include past life energies shifts the perspective into previously ignored areas. The unresolved issues from past lives often impact and create difficulties in our current lives. Unless tackled from the viewpoint, our clients often can find no ultimate resolution from traditional psychotherapy.

Consider PTSD that may or may not have known causes for the overreaction. Even if the client is aware of the antecedents to their distress in this current lifetime, that may only tell half the story. The other half resides in trauma from previous lifetimes. Until that is dealt with, the healing is incomplete. Or perhaps there is no known cause of the reactions from the present lifetime experiences and resolution will occur only if the past life legacies are worked through.

In my recently published book, “Hidden Treasures from Past Lives”, I have described many cases in which healing has occurred using energy psychology and a reincarnation approach. From a holistic perspective, reincarnation engages the mind-body-energy- spirit system and accelerates and deepens healing for individuals.

During this presentation, we will discuss the following:

• Reincarnation as a concept • Documentation regarding validity of reincarnation • Clues for recognizing a potential past life legacy • Five different categories of symptoms: physical, emotional, situational, phobias, relationship issues • Resolution techniques Action Steps that assist client in uncovering past lives Energy psychology techniques Demonstration using Heart Assisted Therapy

OBJECTIVES:

• Name four clues that a past life legacy is the cause of distress. • List five types of symptoms that can be classified as past life legacies. • Name three experts in the field of energy or past life therapy and their individual contribution to its credibility.

Dr. and Professor Helen Wambach approached reincarnation from different perspectives, both intent on proving the validity of reincarnation. Dr. Stevenson took a hard line in finding indisputable evidence that a person could not have known about a previous lifetime if not for reincarnation. Dr. Wambach took an historical approach in demonstrating that her 1088 subjects remembered past lives that fit in with the demographics of periods of history.
