Jonny’s career path has been anything but ordinary. Growing up in Preston, Lancashire Jonny grafted has way through local TV, before making a name for himself nationally in the world of entertainment reporting with ITV2.

Having started his career in stand up, live radio and every obscure local event you could imagine, Jonny developed a panache for adapting quickly and hilariously to any situation. This unique talent soon led to him becoming a firm favourite on the red carpet and established him as one of the UK’s leading showbiz journalists. Whether disarming Hollywood directors with his passionate knowledge of film, soliciting laughs from comedy greats such as Will Ferrell and Ricky Gervais, or even achieving the near impossible of cracking a smile from Robert De Niro, Jonny was quick to establish himself as the go-to-guy for bold and entertaining celebrity interviews to remember.

Backed by a degree in broadcast journalism, it is the combination of his comedic sensibilities and natural charisma that saw him picked up in 2016 by TV, joining the Kick Off presenting team to report live to tens of millions worldwide. With this sports background and an ability to inject a healthy dose of ‘funny’ into any genre, it was not long before Jonny’s presenting talents were utilised to front online content for digital colossus Give Me Sport, and Nickelodeon’s hugely popular show Nick Kicks. He is also one of the lead hosts of GOAL’s hugely popular Studs Up show.

Throughout lock down Jonny began presenting regular entertainment news bulletin show FYI Extra. Jonny has previously scripted and voiced Channel 5’s showbiz round-up show Access, as well as presenting on ITV2’s entertainment news round-up show FYI. He’s also presented the latest music news and chart output for popular radio show Capital FM.

Revelling in his love for football, Jonny has presented various football related programmes. He co-hosted The Very Modern Football Show alongside Rachel Stringer, testing the knowledge of some of football’s greatest legends including Henrik Larsson, Yaya Toure and Xabi , throughout the UEFA Champions League campaign. In 2018 Jonny took a more in-depth look into the sport, presenting international programme The Football Show alongside Layla Anna Lee. The globetrotting magazine show is available on .

In demand commercially, he's additionally presented digital campaigns for the likes of O2, BT, BBC Bitesize, Flybe, Moss Bros and Primark, both in the UK and abroad and has become a trusted live corporate host for numerous business events and awards.

In 2017 Jonny was chosen to front BBC2 and CBBC’s highly anticipated live Saturday morning children’s show, Saturday Mash- Up, alongside Yasmin Evans. After a successful three month run the show was recommissioned and returned in September 2018 for an extended series.
