Name: TUK TUK - Filly Sire: Ghostzapper Foaled: May 22, 2013 Dam: Dynabunny by Dynaformer We Love This Filly . June 2014 SOLD OUT Name: TUK TUK - Filly Sire: Ghostzapper Foaled: May 22, 2013 Dam: Dynabunny by Dynaformer We love this filly. Tuk-Tuk (pronounced took-took) is the perfect blend of a powerful package and a spirited attitude. As a May 22nd foal, she was not a big yearling at the sale, but all of the pieces were in the right place. Her conformation was outstanding, her pedigree eye-catching, and she seemed very smart and aware of her surroundings. We truly did not expect to be able to buy her, but stepped up to the plate, swung, and hope we hit a home run! If you prefer a horse bred on multiple outcrosses, Tuk-Tuk is made to order. One has to go back nearly five generations to start to see some common threads. However, her pedigree is is a blend formulated for success. She receives an A+ “truenicks” rating and an A+++ Werk nick rating.” The A+++ is reserved for less than 5% of all thoroughbreds and has had an unusually high rate of identifying future stakes horses. Her sire, Ghostzapper, earned more than $3.3MM on the track and currently commands a stud fee of $60,000. He was the 12th ranked sire in 2014 progeny earnings and has produced 10% stakes winners from his starters. Our filly’s dam is a half sister to Havre de Grace ($2.5MM Winning Champion) and the female side of her pedigree is blanketed in Graded Stakes winners and Eclipse Award winners. This filly performed well when introduced to the track. She had a nice way of moving and seemed to be a feisty yet intelligent horse. We turned her out in December and gave her time to grow and she responded well to the time off and developed nicely. She is back in training and is on target for a fall 2015 debut on the track.
