One of America’s most acclaimed and controversial comedians, Chelsea Handler, will bring her CHELSEA CHELSEA BANG BANG TOUR to Australia for one exclusive night only at Sydney’s State Theatre on March 10. She will also be filming three episodes of her E! Entertainment hit TV show “Chelsea Lately” while she is here.

Chelsea’s style is a combination of fearless honesty, ironic riffs and self-deprecations with no shortage of material. The current tour of the US has been extended twice due to overwhelming demand for tickets.

In July 2007, Chelsea Handler broke into the world of late-night talk shows with her E! Entertainment series “CHELSEA LATELY”. Consistently one of the networks highest rating shows, “Chelsea Lately” offers a tongue in cheek look at entertainment news, celebrity truths and

rumours that just won’t die, along with other hot topics of the day. Redefining perceptions of the talk show, ‘Chelsea Lately’ is an authentic and hilarious commentary of the celebrity culture around us. In September last year, Chelsea brought a refreshing new energy to the most important evening in music and pop culture as host of the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, giving the 2010 VMAs the highest rating and viewership since 2002.

Chelsea first explored the primetime arena on E! in early 2010 when she hosted “Chelsea’s Big Interview Special”. During the one night event, she went one on one with three of Hollywood’s biggest names Demi Moore, Robin Wright and Bradley Cooper. The special marked Chelsea’s first primetime interview of her career and further illustrated her growing credibility as she took a more serious, yet still humorous approach with A-list stars.

In addition to her wildly successful television series, Chelsea is equally well-known as a best-selling author. Her first book My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One Night Stands, became a best seller for several weeks. Her next releases, Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea and Chelsea Chelsea, Bang Bang both debuted at #1 on the New York Times’ bestsellers list – where all three books remain today!

Chelsea continues to push the limits of her growing media empire as she delves into acting. The actress recently completed production on her first feature film HOP, opposite Russell Brand, James Mardsen and Kaley Cuoco.
