Quality Assurance Policy Statement

General Requirements The Quality Management System (QMS) is that part of SENET’s overall business system which implements our Quality Policy, establishes procedures for providing products and services which meet or exceed Client expectations and satisfies external quality system requirements. The QMS includes the policies, procedures, organizational structure, requirements and responsibilities for achieving SENET’s quality policy. The foundation for SENET’s QMS is found in our company’s stated values and beliefs. These provide guidelines that help to ensure the following objectives:  Focus on SENET’s Clients  Total Participation of SENET’s People  Continuous Improvement

This Quality Manual and its associated procedures establish and document the means by which we implement, maintain and continually improve SENET’s QMS. It also identifies the criteria and methods required to ensure effective operation and control of the system and identify the measurement, monitoring, analysis, information and actions necessary to achieve planned results and continuous improvement.

The process needed for SENET’s QMS include those identified in the ISO 9001 standard, as well as a number of product realization processes unique to SENET’s operations. These processes and their sequences and interactions are identified and described in the respective process maps.

Documentation Requirements General SENET’s QMS documentation includes the quality manual, procedures required the by the ISO 9001 standard, and other procedures, work instructions, and documents which we employ to ensure effective operation and process control. The extent of SENET’s QMS documentation is dependent on the size and type of SENET’s organization, the complexity and interaction of SENET’s processes, and the competence of SENET’s personnel.

Quality Manual QMS documentation includes this quality manual, the standard operating procedures (SOPs) referenced throughout this manual, and other documents, data, forms, and records identified in this manual and associated procedures. Documents and data are in the form of both hard copy and electronic media. QMS documentation was developed based on the complexity of the work, the methods used, and the skills and training needed by employees involved in carrying out the activities.

Standard Operating Procedures are numbered using a system in which they receive the number of the quality manual paragraph they primarily address. For example, paragraph 4.2.3 of this manual addresses control of documents; therefore, the document control procedure is assigned document number SP/Sop/4.2.3.

Control of Documents All QMS documents, including forms used to create quality records are controlled. SP/Sop/4.2.3, Control of Documents, provides the guidance and procedures necessary to:  Approve documents for adequacy prior to issue  Review, update as necessary and re-approve documents  Identify the current revision status of documents  Ensure that relevant versions of applicable documents are available at points of use  Ensure that documents remain legible, readily identifiable and retrievable  Ensure that documents of external origin are identified and their distribution controlled  Prevent the unintended use of obsolete documents, and to apply suitable identification to them if they are retained for any purpose

Control of Records Records required for the QMS are controlled and maintained to provide evidence of conformance to requirements and of effective operation of the QMS. Quality records include all records maintained to demonstrate conformance to specified requirements and the effective operation of the quality system, including documentation that describes:  Results of processes performed, including identification of the individual performing the activity  Product/process evaluation for acceptance criteria  Procedures, drawings or instructions used to perform an activity, including revision and/or date of document  Identification of material, parts, or equipment used in the manufacturing of the product  Personnel, material or equipment qualifications  Pertinent technical records from sub-contractors

Records may be in the form of hard copy or electronic media. SP/Sop/4.2.4, Control of Records, provides the guidance and procedures necessary for the identification, storage, retrieval, protection, retention time and disposition of records.

Management Commitment SENET’s Senior Management provides evidence of its commitment to the development and improvement of the quality management system through both words and actions. SENET’s Quality Policy documents and communicates the importance of meeting or exceeding Client expectations as well as regulatory and legal requirements, by continuously improving SENET’s processes, products, and services. We insure that SENET’s Quality Policy is understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels of the organization through documented training, regular communication, and verbal reinforcement.

SENET’s Senior Management also demonstrates its commitment to the development and improvement of the QMS by regularly establishing and

reviewing quality objectives, conducting management reviews, and ensuring the availability of necessary resources.

Client Focus SENET’s Quality Policy articulates our commitment to our Clients: “We will meet or exceed our Client’s expectations by continuously improving our processes, products and services”. Client expectations must be determined, understood, converted into requirements, and have processes designed to exceed them in order to fulfill the Quality Policy on a daily basis.

SENET works hard to be an active partner with it’s Clients, understanding their work environment and identifying solutions. Staying close to our Clients is SENET’s primary method of determining and understanding their requirements and expectations, and we accomplish this objective through a multitude of channels. These include regular Client visits by SENET’s managers and representatives, trade shows, special Client visits by the leadership of our company to SENET’s largest Clients to conduct joint planning sessions, phone contact with multiple levels of our Clients’ organization through our Client service department, and Client audits of our facilities. These communications and interactions ultimately yield clear, explicit Client requirements and expectations in the form of a contractual agreement or Client specification. The QMS ensures that these requirements are fulfilled with the aim of exceeding our Clients’ expectations.

Quality Policy We will meet or exceed our Client’s expectations by continuously improving our processes, products and services.

SENET’s Quality Policy is integral to the purpose of our organization, and also guides the way we accomplish that purpose. SENET’s Quality Policy indicates our commitment and focuses on what is important to us as an organization: meeting or exceeding Client requirements; and it prescribes the method by which we accomplish this: by continuously improving our processes, products, and services.

Moreover, it acts as a compass in providing the direction and a framework for establishing and reviewing quality objectives.

We insure that SENET’s Quality Policy is communicated and understood at all levels of the organization through documented training, regular communication, and verbal reinforcement.

SENET’s Quality Policy is controlled by its inclusion in this Quality Manual, and is reviewed annually at the Management Review meeting; see SP/Sop/5.6, Management Review, for continuing suitability.

Planning Quality Objectives At the management system level, SENET’s quality objectives are to achieve our Mission Statement and Quality Policy, and to maintain the integrity of and

continuously improve a QMS that satisfies international requirements for ISO registration. At the operational level, product, project, and contract objectives are developed as appropriate to achieve Client satisfaction. Management system level objectives are reviewed annually for achievement and continuing suitability during management reviews; for additional information, see SP/Sop/5.6, Management Review.

Quality Management System Planning SENET’s Quality Management System, as described in our Quality Manual and its associated procedures, is that part of the overall management system which implements SENET’s Quality Policy, establishes procedures by which we meet or exceed Client expectations, and satisfies international system requirements for ISO registration. As such, it also constitutes the SENET quality plan.

Quality Planning is carried out against each company activity to ensure that specific requirements for products and projects are defined and understood including the following:  Project Quality Plans  Acquisitions of processes, controls, equipment, resources, and skills to achieve the required quality.  Compatibility of design and processes.  Updating of quality control, inspection and testing techniques.  Identification of any measurement that exceeds the known state of art.  Identification of suitable verification at appropriate stages of the product/project.  Clarification of standards and specifications.  Identification and preparation of Quality records.

SENET’s QMS identifies and plans for the resources needed to ensure that our quality objectives are met. This includes the identification and planning of QMS processes, the resources needed to ensure its successful implementation, and objectives for continuous improvement. Any changes to the system are conducted in a controlled manner so that the integrity of the QMS is continually maintained. Whenever a Client’s specified requirements are such that they are beyond the control of SENET’s established QMS, a specific quality plan is developed for that process or product.
