James Cousins Choreographer / Movement Director
James is a contemporary-style choreographer who has most recently been appointed the Movement Director and Associate Director to Nicholas Hytner on the new adaptation of Philip Pullman's BOOK OF DUST - LA BELLE SAUVAGE at the Bridge Theatre. He also has own eponymous dance company, the James Cousins Company and was the winner of the inaugural New Adventures Choreographer Award by Matthew Bourne. He is interested in creating work with diverse and progressive collaborators and using dance to provide social commentary on the wider world around us.
