On behalf of the Board, I thank Sir David for his significant contribution to the Company, particularly in its early years of development. In November 2011, Michael Harper joined the QinetiQ Board as a Non-executive Director and, following Sir David’s retirement, became the Group’s Deputy Chairman and Senior Independent Director.
