There was only one recommendation from the previous IMPEP review, relating to the its incident response program to ensure that incidents are appropriately investigated and are promptly reported to NRC, as appropriate. Regarding incident reporting requirements, the bureau has implemented the formal recommendation of the IMPEP report by retraining all regional and central office staff on the proper reporting requirements. This training included the proper timeframe of reporting and ensuring all reportable events are closed out and root cause is included.
