(please tick one box) Agree Please explain your choice In general terms the parish council accepts that the proposals for Fyfield are in outline terms realistic subject to matters of detail including the provision of supporting infrastructure Please tick the area/s you wish to respond to. Coopersale, Fyfield, High Ongar, Lower Sheering, Moreton, Sewardstonebury, Sheering and Stapleford Abbotts (Draft Policy P 12) Do you agree with the proposed sites in Coopersale, Fyfield, High Ongar, Lower Sheering, Moreton, Sewardstonebury, Sheering and Stapleford Abbotts (Draft Policy P 12)? (please tick one box) No Please explain your reasons for this The assessment statement on Fyfield is not correct as the site suggested is not infact in the center of Fyfield. In addition to infrastucture concerns addressed above it is noted that the proposed site will requires improved access to the community store and local pubs inorder to ensure that the proposed development is sustainable. This may include improvements to pedestrian pavements to the north of the development site and improvements to the junction of the B184 and Queen Street to facilitate improved parking adjacent to the community shop.We note the requirement to include an allocation for affordable housing, but remain concerned that the measure of affordable housing in the area fails to address the difficulties faced by many young people and families who may have been raised in the district but would find the costs of homes at 80% of the market value beyond their means. Do you agree with the approach to infrastructure provision being proposed in the plan? (please tick one box) Disagree Please explain your choice The Parish Council Disagrees. Chapter 6 of the Draft Local Plan has correctly identified relevant concerns on the development of infrastructure for the proposed development in Fyfield. The concerns that rural locations lack adequate health and education infrastructure and the concerns that ultimately new development risks an adverse impact on the quality of life for existing residents is explained but the proposed policies fail to provide any material assurances that these concerns will be addressed. In the case of proposals for Fyfield the issue is compounded due to the proposed delivery timescale fr the housing development which would appear to leave little practical scope for any health, education or highway infrastucture requirements to be addressed in sufficient time. http://eppingforest.consultationonline.co.uk/?gf_page=printentry&fid=3&lid=2487¬es=1 2/2.
