PETULA HITS TOWN FOR CONCERT TONIGHT

The sensational international star, Petula Clark gained American fame with her

memorable "” recording. She will appear Thursday evening at 8:15 in the

Adams Field House in a public concert.

Before her American success, Europe did not share its special girl, and Petula

was known primarily as an English recording star who had sold 25 million records to

European audiences.

Among the 5 million records sold since "Downtown," her hits have included "I

Can't Live Without Your Love," "A Sign of the Times," and "Color My World."
