On April 28 & 29 the Red Brick Gallery (located at 315 E. Main) presented Paint Ventura, a free Downtown Ventura art event featuring local artists painting, teaching and selling, kid’s activities, music, workshops and more. The Ventura Breeze was there featuring face painting by the Baker family and selling Breeze T-shirts for only $12.00. Shown (on the top row) is Red Brick co-owner (with mom Phyllis) Jenn Livia and felt artist Sara Smelt and on the piano Randall Richman. On the bottom row (in the middle) is 5-year-old Brigit Fitzgerald (of Quick Printing Plus fame) getting her face painted at the Breeze booth.
