For the discerning automotive enthusiast, this is exciting news indeed. Peter Boutwood, Managing Director for Noble Automotive explains: “For some time now, we at Noble Automotive have been receiving constant requests, by both owners of the cars and fans of the brand, for scale replicas. Previous research and investigation into the possibilities of producing a range of models however had not left us feeling entirely comfortable with the rapport of the proposed associations. So it is with considerable pleasure I can now announce, having entered into this new agreement with Automodello, that we have finally found a partner able to produce models we consider to reflect both the quality and attention to detail of our original product.” The two companies will be working in close co-operation to ensure that customers will be offered the most accurate and excellent Noble scale replicas ever produced. Currently on the drawing board are the Noble M12, Noble M400 and Noble M600. Succinctly pointing out why the announced partnership is a perfect fit, Jim Cowen, CEO of Automodello, comments: "Here we have two high-end, low-production run companies, both widely acknowledged for their outstanding levels of innovation and engineering precision, teaming up to make the great small!” Jim adds: “We chose the M600 as the first car to produce because it represents the pinnacle of Noble’s expertise. It trounces the supercar establishment with a super light carbon-body mated to incredible power and handling that is raw, rare and, without the need for computer assistance.” more Page 2 Automodello embarks on a Noble venture In 1:43 scale the Noble M600 will be released in Baby Blue (AM43-NOB-M60-BB), CarbonSport Black (AM43-NOB-M60-CS) and Demonstrator Orange (AM43-NOB-M60-DO). These models will be limited to a build of no more than 299 pieces, retailing at $119.95 each. All models will be available through Noble service centers, as well as directly from Diecasm, corporate parent to Automodello, and, Automodello’s Full Service dealers worldwide.     + + ETHOS... The ethos of the Noble M600 has developed from a small team passionate about driving. This evolved from our research of the available ‘supercars’ most of which lean heavily on computer assistance. The use of fashionable but often inefficient gear paddle shift, over assisted brakes and inopportune traction control have all become standard features of the modern day supercar. We at Noble Automotive thought it time to break the mould, feeling that this now ubiquitous ‘digital’ driver assistance disengages and negates the driver experience and reward. We have experienced, when turning off these devices, that computer generated support can often cosmetically mask and flatter inferior chassis and handling characteristics. We decided that with the introduction of the M600 it was time to ‘get back to basics’, to concentrate on the more ‘analogue’ qualities of design by utilising a principle of pure engineering integrity from the chassis up, putting the driver back in control. The philosophy behind this radical and refreshing premise is best summed up by Peter Dyson, owner of Noble Automotive Limited; ‘Noble is a labour of love, of no compromises and of challenges fought. The car speaks for itself, and absolutely reflects what the Team and I envision a true drivers car should be. It is no question uniquely “out of sync” in today’s world, one overrun with cars that cannot make up their minds as to whether they want to be a car that rewards or a car that gives hollow praise by electronically ‘covering’ the errors.’ Designed and engineered with a purity that rewards driver skill, the M600 is neither dictated to nor hindered by unnecessary computer assistance.
