SUMMARY

Issued on 13 January 2021 at 5 AM, the Tail-End of Frontal System/LPA brought cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in the areas of Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, Bangsamoro, Sorsogon, and Masbate. Source: DSWD-FO X

I. Status of Affected Families / Persons A total of 1,651 families or 7,615 persons were affected by the flooding incident in 11 barangays in Northern Mindanao (see Table 1).

II. Status of Displaced Families / Persons a. Inside Evacuation Center A total of 10 families or 50 persons are currently taking temporary shelter in one (1) evacuation center in Cagayan De Oro City, Misamis Oriental (see Table 2).

b. Outside Evacuation Center A total of 1,531 families or 7,108 persons sought shelter with their relatives and/or friends (see Table 3).

III. Damaged Houses A total 28 houses were damaged; of which, 17 were totally damaged and 11 were partially damaged (see Table 4).

IV. Assistance Provided A total of ₱92,927.00 worth of assistance was provided to the affected families; of which, ₱57,927.00 from DSWD and ₱35,000.00 from LGUs (see Table 5).

DSWD-DRMB DATE SITUATIONS / ACTIONS UNDERTAKEN • The Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center (DROMIC) 19 January 2021 of the DSWD-DRMB is closely coordinating with DSWD-FO X for significant reports on the status of affected families, assistance, and relief efforts.

DSWD-FO X DATE SITUATIONS / ACTIONS UNDERTAKEN • DSWD-FO X through its DRMD is in close coordination and monitoring of the 19 January 2021 situation of affected LGUs for immediate response and updates.

***** The Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center (DROMIC) of the DSWD-DRMB is closely coordinating with DSWD-FO X for any significant disaster response updates.
