Georgia Tech nipped at the Cowboys for much of the day, making up eight strokes with a final-round 276, compared to Oklahoma State’s 284. The Cowboys withstood the charge – Georgia Tech held a five-shot lead with four holes to play – but not by much. Oklahoma State won in a sudden-death playoff. Freshman J.C. DeLeon birdied for the Cowboys, who also had four pars.
