There is NO fee for three or four-year-old children. LRSD is the state’s largest provider of public early childhood services. Every classroom has a certified lead teacher and highly-qualified aide. Recent national skills test results show that at the end of 1st grade, LRSD Pre-K students from every economic level, outperform students who have not attended a LRSD pre- kindergarten program in every skill category (Reading, Language and Math).
