    M EETING NOTICE W YOMING LEGISLATIVE SERVICE OFFICE JOINT CORPORATIONS, ELECTIONS AND POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS INTERIM COMMITTEE Senator Cale Case and Representative Dan Zwonitzer, Co-chairmen of the Joint Corporations, Elections and Political Subdivisions Interim Committee, have announced the Committee will meet: September 18 & 19, 2017 The Inn at Lander 260 Grandview Dr. Lander, WY DRAFT AGENDA The purpose of the meeting is to continue the interim work of the Committee. The Committee will receive testimony and consider information concerning extraterritorial jurisdiction; issues related to municipal jurisdiction including authority over surface water drainage systems; corporate filing fees, registration fees and other corporate fees; election offenses and investigations; campaign finance, disclosures and electioneering; proposed revisions to elections laws; statutory gender references; the National Association of Insurance Commissioner's accreditation; proposed revisions to Wyoming's insurance laws; automatic renewal provisions in consumer contracts; internet service providers and web browsing history; the Wyoming Public Service Commission; and electric utility regulation. A draft agenda for the meeting is included with this meeting notice. The draft agenda likely will be refined after the date of this notice and the revised version(s) will be available on the legislative Web site at: www.wyoleg.gov. Members of leadership and newly elected legislators will be sworn in during opening ceremonies on the first day of session, which is slated to begin at Noon on Jan. 10. In the House of Representatives, Representative Steve Harshman, of Casper, was elected Speaker of the House; Representative David Miller, of Riverton, was elected Majority Floor Leader; Representative Donald Burkhart, of Rawlins, was elected Speaker Pro Tempore; and Representative Albert Sommers, of Pinedale, was elected Majority Whip.
