“CHAMPIONS of ROCK” På Turné Med Peter Johansson Och Nina Söderquist M.Fl! “CHAMPIONS OF ROCK” på turné med Peter Johansson och Nina Söderquist m.fl! Nu möts de båda musikalstjärnorna Peter Johansson och Nina Söderquist på samma scen i ”Champions of Rock”, som är en konsertversion baserad på Queen musikalen med delar av artister och musiker från London. Båda har de gjort stor succé i London. Turnépremiär den 2 oktober i Göteborg, Lisebergshallen (Se datum nedan). Sommaren 2005 övertog Peter Johansson huvudrollen i Queen-musikalen ”We will rock you” på Dominion Theatre i London och gjorde stor succé. Nina Söderquist fick sitt stora genombrott 2007 då hon fick huvudrollen rollen som ”Lady of the lake” i Monty Python´s succémusikal ”Spamalot” i London. NO. ___________ (CAPITAL CASE) IN THE ____________ ALAN DALE WALKER., PETITIONER, V. STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, RESPONDENT. ____________ ON PETITION FOR A WRIT OF CERTIORARI TO THE SUPREME COURT OF MISSISSIPPI ____________ PETITION FOR A WRIT OF CERTIORARI ____________ James W. Craig David P. Voisin Counsel of Record P.O. Box 13984 Hannah A. Lommers-Johnson Jackson, MS 39236 RODERICK & SOLANGE (601) 949-9486 MACARTHUR JUSTICE CENTER [email protected] 4400 S. Carrollton Ave. New Orleans, LA 70119 (504) 620-2259 [email protected] [email protected] Counsel for Alan Dale Walker QUESTIONS PRESENTED (CAPITAL CASE) Counsel for Petitioner Alan Walker admitted he did not prepare for a potential capital murder penalty phase because of his mis-placed confidence that Walker’s co- indictee would not testify against him. On the weekend before trial, the co-indictee reached a deal with the state, leaving trial counsel with no option but to “humanize” his client with the witnesses who were available: Walker’s mother, half-sister, half- brother, and employer. Counsel had not sought investigative or expert assistance save a self-serving motion for a competency evaluation ten days before trial. He stated on the record he had no basis for the motion and that he wanted to protect himself from an ineffectiveness claim. In successive post-conviction proceedings permitted under Mississippi law, new counsel for Walker presented mitigation evidence of a childhood saturated with sexual dysfunction and exposure to sexual abuse, including blatant incest on the part of his step-father and the molestation of Walker and his brother by older teenage girls.

DOCUMENT RESUME ED 087 710 SP 007 678 AUTHOR Dale, Ralph Alan TITLE Hypnosis and Education. PUB DATE [72] NOTE 38p. EDRS PRICE MF-$0.65 HC-$3..).9 DESCRIPTORS *Behavior Change; Educational Counseling; *Educational Innovation; *Educational Practice; Educational Psychology; *Hypnosis; *Reinforcement IDENTIFIERS *Suggestion ABSTRACT Hypnosis is a state of mind which manifests a high degree of suggestibility. Advertising, political campaigning, and religious contemplation are all areas in which hypotism is employed, usually without knowledge on the part of either the "hypnotist" or the subject. Because of its association with entertainment, magic, manipulation, and danger, hypnosis and suggestion have not yet been accepted or practiced in educational institutions even thought the evidence is clear that they offer the promise of immeasurable reward for education. Nine possible uses of hypnosis and suggestion in education are a) to reinforce positive habits and relinquish negative ones, b) to expand consciousness by increasing sensory and sensual response, c) to improve concentration, d)to aid memory, e) to increase motivation, f) to diminish "mental blocks," g) to reduce anxiety, h)to encourage original thinking, and i) to develop self-confidence. These nine uses of hypnosis and suggestion in education are, for the most part, still confined to theory and the research laboratory. Educational institutions have not yet availed themselves of the benefits that can be derived from the use of these techniques. (HMD) HYPNOSIS AND EDUCATION U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH. The Promise of Lost (About Season 2) 1 The Promise of Lost (About Season 2) Guillaume Dulong Translation : Brian Stacy I am like a man who, having grounded his ship on many shoals and nearly wrecked it in passing a small island, still has the nerve to put out to sea in the same leaky weather-beaten vessel, and even carries his ambition so far as to think of going around the globe in it. My memory of past errors and perplexities makes me unsure about the future. The wretched condition, the weakness and disorder, of the ·intellectual· faculties that I have to employ in my enquiries increase my anxiety. And the impossibility of amending or correcting these faculties reduces me almost to despair, and makes me resolve to die on the barren rock where I am now rather than to venture into that boundless ocean that goes on to infinity1! 1 After Lost's first season ended with a hit finale that saw its characters blast open the hatch, the stakes involved in writing the sequel were so high that Cuse and Lindelof were quoted saying that Abrams came forward right away to ask them what was beneath the hatch.
