Wayne Rooney Salary 2019 Wayne rooney salary 2019 Continue Every two years, the Major League Soccer Players' Association published a list of salaries for members of its organization, and D.C. United surprisingly finds Wayne Rooney at $2.78 million. This figure is proded from the time he was here this season, so expect it to go into rumored numbers (about $6 million) in next year's first pay cap. Just behind Rooney, just under $1 million in pennies, is Zoltan Stiber; Stibi has been both a starter and a backup this year, and while he has been superb at times, the team is likely to seek more consistency in that amount. The top five are Paul Arriola, Luciano Acosta and Steven Birnbaum, all of who earn the wages they are paid. The team's best deals are Bill Hamid's $93,000 salary and Chris Durkin's home-made contract for $89,000. The most injured Vytas has a large amount of $271,000, but he was needed when they acquired him and might move on after this season. The highest paid players around the league are Sebastian Giovinco, Michael Bradley and Carlos Vela, although rumors are that Atlanta United may break those numbers. You can find the full list of D.C. United players below! United's off-season acquisitions, including a full-year salary of $3.5 million and a guaranteed compensation of $3,507,500. The list looks at what players are paid, so it doesn't include things like D.C. is only responsible for Chris McCann and Chris Seitz's minimum wages or carries most of David Ousted's salary ($261,182/$361,136) to get him off the books and into chicago fire duties. Other random thoughts: Bill Hamid's 2017 salary ($350,000/$395,500) takes a nice raise, Russell Canouse's salary is unchanged from 2018, Zoltan Stieber's salary plummets and Junior Moreno could be MLS's best offer. United to return to play in his home country from January 2020.Rooney has two seasons left on his current deal D.C. United, but has agreed to join Derby County, which plays in the English Championship, under the Premier League in one division.Football fans in the United States still have a chance to see Rooney play a little longer, having promised to see the MLS season end with D.C. The former England captain signed a washington franchise from Everton in July 2018 and has scored 23 goals in 41 league games. I must also take this opportunity to thank D.C. United, its owners, managers and supporters with whom it has been excellent to work. I want them to know. I will give everything I can to support our for forths for the play-offs, Rooney said in a statement on Tuesday. Together with their ongoing gaming obligations, Rooney joins Derby's coaching team as he takes his first steps towards the lead. I am equally excited to start my coaching career at Derby County by working with both the first team and the academy, he added. The striker has easily been the highest-paid player in D.C. United history with a reported annual salary of $2.7 million, with an additional $5 million coming through guarantees tied to his image rights and other commercial incentives. Derby County started their new season with a 2-1 win at Huddersfield on Monday and are under the control of former Dutch midfielder Phillip Cocu. He took over after Rooney's former England team-mate Frank Lampard left for the head coaching position at Chelsea last month. Rooney will wear the number 32 shirt when he joins the derby playing team, meaning a move away from his long-standing connection with Number 10, which he wore for more than a decade with Manchester United and England. However, it seems that derby's main shirt sponsor is also interested in this move. It is clear that the creative commercial potential of this is widespread and significant. Since Wayne joined the club, we have just been offered a record sponsorship deal with our main shirt sponsor, 32Red, Derby County CEO Mel Morris said in a statement. Rooney's new contract with Derby is initially 18 months until the summer of 2021, but it also has the option of running for another year. DIVISION I MEN’S SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIPS RECORDS BOOK 2016 Championship 2 History 3 All-Time Results 13 Brackets 23 2016 CHAMPIONSHIP HIGHLIGHTS Stanford wins College Cup championship in penalty kicks: For the second consecutive season, the Stanford Cardinal are the kings of college soccer. They defeated No. 2 national seed Wake Forest in a 5-4 shootout following a 0-0 draw at BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston. Stanford is the third team to win the national title while not surrendering a goal in the NCAA tournament (Wisconsin 1995, San Francisco 1976). “For me, it is very, very special,” Stanford midfielder Drew Skundrich said. “I think, we look at the squad we had last year and said, ‘Wow, we had some incredible individual players, some incredible talent all over the field.’ Going into winter, something just felt like a little missing, we just had to take that time to encourage and develop every single one of our players into something special like those guys were last year. Over time we did that, we did very well in spring, everyone trained hard over summer and we got after it right away during preseason and dropping those first few games it just made us realize that this is a new year, new team, new challenges and we need to take everything we can to get back to this stage and that’s what we did.” The match had plenty of drama and opportunities despite the lack of goals. The teams battled back and forth for 110 minutes, with no one able to break through.

United, 1-0, in 2021 Home Opener Revs top Eastern Conference rival in first live event with fans since March 2020 FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Revolution (1-0-1; 4 pts.) opened their 2021 home slate with a 1-0 win against D.C. United at Gillette Stadium on Saturday night. The match marked Gillette Stadium’s first event with fans since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic – a span of 414 days. New England’s lone tally came via an own goal from D.C. United’s Brendan Hines-Ike following a cross from Brandon Bye in the 48th minute. The Revolution’s record in the club’s last 15 home openers improved to 8-1-6 with tonight’s result. Two Revolution newcomers – midfielder Arnór Traustason and defender Christian Mafla – made their MLS debuts in tonight’s contest as the Revs picked up a fourth consecutive win against D.C. United. Traustason, acquired from Swedish side Malmö FF on March 16, began training with the Revolution on Monday and slotted into the starting lineup on the left wing. He played 81 minutes and recorded one shot on target with three fouls won. Mafla played 54 minutes at left back in his first outing with New England’s senior team. He played 76 minutes for Revolution II on April 17 after recovering from a preseason injury. Another offseason addition, midfielder Wilfrid Kaptoum, registered his first start with the Revolution after debuting as a substitute in Chicago last weekend.
