[email protected] www.bu.edu/bpt/ Chief duties entail working with our staff and interns and workstudy students in order to develop the long-range operational and artistic goals of both the academic Graduate Program in Playwriting at Boston University and the professional theatre producing new work; to oversee and supervise new play development, i.e., create readings, workshops, and collaborations with the various artistic teams; to supervise the hiring of all directors, designers, actors, and production personnel (which entails negotiating union contracts for the artists); to expand the educational and outreach programs of the theatre and academic programs; to work with regional and national organizations for the betterment of our alumni and current students.
